We’ve stayed here in the past without an issue but this time around we ran into several issues. The first was that the primary suite smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the toilet kept running. Because we didn’t check in until 1:00 AM and had already schleped up all of our belongings and food for the week, we decided to wait until we had slept before requesting a room change. The next morning, management sent maintenance and housekeeping to our suite and advised that they had reserved us a new suite for us to move into (in the same building for convenience,) and that we could move when we finished our day at the park. When we got in that evening, management kindly moved us to a new suite but it was in a different building which required us to repack our family of 4 with a weeks worth of food and carry it over to the new tower at night. Also, we were contacted by someone claiming to be from the “front desk” telling us we needed to get our pool key since we checked in late. I worried and worried about this only to find out there was no such thing. It’s a gimmick they use to try to convince you to do the timeshare presentation. There is no separate pool key.
The other smaller issues we encountered were that there was only one USB outlet, no iron or ironing board, and quite frankly, the resort is really showing its age and is really dated. Again, these are smaller issues.
All said, the rooms were clean and the beds were somewhat comfortable. It was a good value.
