My check-in experience was disappointing and not welcoming. The staff member did not provide any information about the resort or its amenities. The interaction was very minimal—she only asked for my ID and credit card, then how many keys I needed, and that was it. No orientation, no guidance, nothing that made me feel like a guest being welcomed.
I was then sent to another person and told I would receive a tour during breakfast. However, I later realized this was actually a timeshare presentation, which was never clearly explained upfront. When I expressed that I was not interested in continuing, I was told, “you can still eat if you want” and “it’s free.” I did not ask for anything for free—I prefer to pay for my experiences and genuinely enjoy them.
Unfortunately, this first impression affected my overall experience from the very beginning of my stay.
For future guests, I recommend improving the check-in process by providing a warm welcome and clear information about the resort and its amenities. Transparency is also key—timeshare presentations should be clearly disclosed so guests can make an informed decision without feeling misled.
A more respectful, transparent, and guest-focused approach would make a significant difference.
