Beaver Village 17-12 by Mountain Vacation Lodging is a nicely updated condo and the ideal spot for your mountain getaway to the Winter Park and Grand County area. It offers you great quality, lots of beds, a convenient location, affordable rates, and a nice set of on-site amenities.

The living area is one large space. New furniture in the living room includes a nice sleeper sofa and two armchairs. With a gas fireplace surrounded by natural stone and wood accent wall, this space has a cozy and warm feel. There's also a large HDTV with a soundbar, and speakers by the couch add depth to the sound for an immersive experience. A Roku is provided to allow you to stream content from your favorite apps, and the wifi is very good at this condo, so you'll have plenty of bandwidth! Off the living room is a covered balcony. Take your morning coffee or apres ski beverage outside to enjoy the pine forest vies and fresh mountain air. In the kitchen, you'll find solid granite counters, beautiful new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a custom tile backsplash. The kitchen is fully equipped, including the little things such as spices, oils, and small appliances such as a mixer, a crockpot, and toaster. There's two types of coffee machines, a Keurig and a Nespresso, and a starter supply of coffee pods. The kitchen also features an island with barstools. This makes a perfect place to set up your laptop or serve up some appetizers. The dining table seats 6 and is also a great place for cards or games - you'll find a nice selection of games and puzzles in the condo.

There are two bedrooms where you can retreat to get some rest and relaxation. Bedroom 1 has log frame furniture and a Queen sized bed. This is a large room that also includes a loveseat and rocking chair. It is also a true suite, with its own private bathroom. The dual sink vanity provides plenty of space for two to share, while a door provides privacy for the bathtub, shower and toilet portion of the bathroom. Bedroom 2 offers a Queen bed and a Twin over Twin bunk bed, making this room suitable for up to 4 people to share. So, whether your group includes single adults, couples, a couples with kids, this condo ensures everyone has a comfortable place to lay their head. This second bedroom is also a suite, with its own private bathroom.

Amenities & Location:
The complex offers multiple hot tubs, a heated pool, and a sauna for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The clubhouse also includes a laundry facility and a lounge with fireplace, TV, and just like the condo itself, free wifi. From this development, guests can take a quick walk to downtown Winter Park's shops and restaurants, just 2 blocks away. You don't have to walk though. The free bus picks up right in front of the building, so it is easy to enjoy a very short and free bus ride to downtown or the Winter Park Resort, which is only 1.5 miles away. There are also National Forest hiking, biking, and snowshoeing trails which are accessible directly from the property. When you stay here, you don't need a vehicle, or you can leave it parked during your stay. The roads which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained. However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We will provide you with arrival instructions, and answer any specific questions you might have. Accessing the condo is easy! From the outdoor parking area you'll walk down a half flight of steps to reach the condo but that's it. This ground floor condo is easy to access with your groceries, luggage, or when you're tired from a day full of adventures. The layout is all on one floor, with bedroom 1 facing the pine forest out back and bedroom 2 facing the front lawn and parking lot. Parking is outdoor, free, and plentiful. Please note, trailers and RVs may or may not be allowed. Please contact us before booking if you will have either of these, so that we may assist with gaining advance permission, or provide you with off-site parking ideas.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. Please let us know if you have any concerns.
** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. Ski Trip Stay at Beaver Village

The place was great and clean. Perfect for our family of four. However the condo was advertised with pool and hot access which we were denied. They said owner refused to pay his club house dues and they were not to provide access. I have a picture of the note posted at the front desk. Pool and hot tub was our number one search criteria and so it was very disappointing. We’ll be asking for some sort of refund for false advertising.
