"The hotel is located right next to Sanssouci Park, which is very convenient if that is your main destination in Potsdam. However, the location is less practical for most other activities, such as restaurants, cafés, and shopping. Reaching the edge of Potsdam’s old town requires a fairly long walk, including a steep uphill/downhill section with stairs.
There is no restaurant on site, so guests need to go into the city for lunch or dinner. That said, the breakfast was excellent, and the room itself was quiet, comfortable, and well equipped with pleasant amenities. The minibar was empty, however, and I would have appreciated it being stocked."
