Disappointing Experience Overall
Unfortunately, our stay at Siente Tulum was very disappointing. The building itself felt run-down, and the sheets were dirty upon arrival, which was unacceptable. There were also no washcloths provided at all.
Trying to access the “all-inclusive” experience was a nightmare. Communication was extremely difficult since no one spoke English, making even basic questions frustrating. The food quality was poor, and the all-inclusive package did not truly mean all-inclusive — multiple bartenders told us the bar was closed or that we needed to pay extra for drinks, which completely defeats the purpose.
The only bright spot of this stay was Kassy, the bartender. She was amazing — sweet, attentive, and genuinely made an effort to take care of guests. She deserves recognition because she was the only part of this experience that felt welcoming.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made in cleanliness, communication, and transparency around what “all-inclusive” actually includes.
