The service level and upkeep and appearance of the building were not up to 5 stars. Basics were lacking in the rooms (power sockets, hangers...) and when calling for room service and other things, the waiting times were unacceptably long. Service at breakfast was totally lapse - had to ask for a coffee two or three times every time. Hugely overpriced for the levels received. It felt like the hotel was resting on the laurels of former glory.
