The apartment itself is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of four. The location is excellent, with fantastic restaurants nearby, and having a Pam Local right next door was incredibly convenient. The bathroom is small, but that felt typical for the area.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted our stay. The air conditioning did not work, which made the apartment uncomfortably hot throughout our visit. The listing also shows a washer, but it was disconnected and unavailable for use. Upon arrival, we were locked out for approximately 90 minutes because the contact number provided by the host was disconnected. In addition, there were frequently homeless individuals sitting on the steps leading into the building, which may be something future guests would want to know.
The biggest frustration has been the handling of the refund we were promised. We were provided with what was presented as proof that a refund had been initiated, but we have not received the funds, and the documentation provided contains discrepancies that have not been adequately explained.
Overall, the apartment has a great location and plenty of space, but the lack of working air conditioning, inaccurate listing information, check-in problems, and unresolved refund issue would keep me from ever booking with Daplace again.
