First of all, the people who administer the rental and the location are off the charts amazing. Dasha, our greeter, was an absolute GEM! She was helpful when we got into a bit of a medical crisis and after, when we left something of incredible value behind in the apartment. Walking to the Colosseum -- just seeing it right as you walk out of the apartment -- was amazing. We loved becoming a part of the community there, frequenting the coffee shop, wine bar, and even florist down the street. Would definitely stay there again.

You can see the Coliseum from front door!

This was a great experience. It started with the property manager. Dasha met us at the property and gave us so much great info on places to eat and see. We did it all. Her recommendations were spot on. Great location. Lots of hot water, and amenities met all needs.
It's closer than it looks in the photo, but this is from the front door of the apartment.
Use Tigets for all your tickets. Worked great.

Fabulous Getaway in Rome

I made a flash decision to add Rome to my trip I was taking to Europe. Boy what an excellent idea. I picked my VRBO mostly based on the photos - the bedrooms and little deck . What an excellent choice. The place was actually better than the photos. It was also a stones throw from the Colosseum and other historical sites. Quaint little restaurants, a little supermarket, and the metro were also very close. I had prearranged with the VRBO for a pick up from the airport in a drop off back to the airport. That went off without a hitch. The entire check-in process was wonderful. Dasha met me at the apartment and went over everything. I LOVED the place. I even told my husband that I could see myself living there. I highly recommend this rental.

Holiday Trip

The location is great. The communication is amazing, every time we had a question, they would respond immediately! There is no elevator, the second bathroom is very cold and almost not useful at all. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Colossal stay in Rome

Excellent stay in Rome (our second trip). Apartment was great. Location was awesome (200m from Colosseum). Metro 200m away (in both directions) and a bus stop almost outside the front door. We would give the host/greeter (Dasha) 6 stars but it only went up to 5 !

Good Location

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint apartment. We loved that we were in walking distance to the colosseum and many beautiful basilicas. We visited in July, and it was very hot! The air conditioner worked wonderfully! One of the bathrooms was super small but functioned well. I gave cleanliness 4 stars because the 2nd bedroom bedsheets needed attention. We would stay here again.

Holiday in Rome

Great location and place to stay. We enjoyed walking out the apartment and seeing the Coliseum. I may have lost a size 11 ring with an oval white stone in it. Please let me know if it is found.

1st time in Rome

The apartment was perfectly located. Just past the Colosseum with easy access to Metro etc. The neighborhood was lively and safe. Best of all, the hosting entity took care of everything, our transport from the airport to the door of the apartment where the had someone waiting to let us in and show us our place. They were responsive within a few minutes for all our needs and questions. Info in apt was comprehensive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Not as expected

Excellent location, very responsive communication with host throughout the booking and arrival, who also coordinated our transport. Regrettably, there was a strong odor of sewage in the apt. upon arrival especially in the bathrooms which persisted throughout our stay. One bathroom is so small that an adult can barely fit in it to use the toilet.

Short break to Rome again.

Ideal location to visit the wonderful sites Rome has to offer and more. Natalia and Walter very informative and gave great suggestions. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Location, location, location

We rented this apartment because of its location, and it proved even better than we expected. Access to public transportation could not be better, with one bus line that stops almost right outside the front door and a major bus stop just a couple of blocks away. Furthermore, the apartment is within walking distance of almost anywhere you would wish to go in Rome, with the Colosseum visible down the street in one direction, S. Giovanni in Laterano in the other, and the magnificent church of San Clemente across the street one block away. In addition, there are two superb restaurants, I Clementini and Ristorante Isidor, a few steps away. The apartment itself is comfortable and well equipped--the large and unusually comfortable king-sized bed deserves special notice. When we visit Rome in the future, we will certainly return here.

Great Stay in Rome

We really enjoyed our days in this lovely apartment. The residence was clean and just as pictured on the website. Natalie and Walter were very nice and informative. They gave us ideas of things to see that we hadn’t seen before. The location of the apartment is stellar and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, the coliseum and San Giovanni. We hope to be go back.

Superb Apartment in Central Location

What a beautiful ,smart clean apartment in a wonderful location moments walking to the Colosseum, Roman forum and Palatine hill. Colosseum metro near by with easy access to most parts of Rome. The apartment is equipped with every modernity and is spotlessly clean and elegantly furnished. Walter and Natalia were so helpful with all queries prior to our arrival and Walter greeted us at the apartment and suggested places and points of interest in Rome, his information is as good as any guide. There are many good restaurants and bars in the area and especially if you like walking all the main attractions can be easily reached. Do book on line for tickets to any major sites as the queues are long and by booking on line you can skip them. This apartment made our stay in Rome such a pleasure, much better than staying in hotels ,as We have before here. We will definitely be back here. Thank you Walter and Natalia for the use of your beautiful apartment.

Roman Holiday

This property was perfect for our stay in Rome! Our hosts Natalia & Walter provide a very comfortable, clean and safe apartment for their guests and they shared their vast knowledge of the area and tips for seeing the many sights in the city at checkin. Both the air conditioning & internet at the property worked well and the kitchen had all the necessities for food prep & meals. N&W also provided us with basics for our daily breakfast and a cell phone for use during our stay, along with offer of help should the need arise. They arranged our early morning transport to the airport, which was punctual & courteous. This apartment is located near the Coliseum and it is easy to reach other parts of the city via walking, metro, bus or taxi service. We look forward to our next visit to Rome and staying at Municipio 1 again.
