"We booked this hotel to get a break from the Japanese city life, but we were quite disappointed. Looking at the pictures when we booked this room, they looked spacious and of newer date, with a private open hot spring - not exactly true to the real deal. When opening the door to the room, we were met with an awful odor, best described as a mix of filth and enclosed dirty moist laundry. The futons were nice though, but the open air hot spring is not open air. It is just a tub that does not get...
"I had a very pleasont stay at Regina. The room was very spacious, and the bed was very good. This was very nice, since I had previously been sleeping in a bad bed at another hotel. I also used the laundry machines. I did not use the onsen, since I have tattoos and understood that Because many japanese guests were visiting the hotel at the time, it was best i did not use the onsen. Though I would have liked to used the onsen, I do understand that there are some cultural history around this."
"Stayed for two nights. Aamazing service and free snacks and drinks. Hotel seems a bit outdated, and private onsen especially looked outdated. Also seems great if you are a family and less as a couple.
Breakfast Buffet wasn’t in our taste, and didn’t seem very delicious. Few western choice that tasted well, but a lot of options if you are into the Japanese breakfast style.
Location was great in Gora close to cable car and other good restaurants and coffee bar (coffee champ) "

"Wonderfully helpful and attentive staff - anything goes with this hotel, if you let them know in advance. I agree with other reviews calling the hotel dated, the tatami could do with a change, there were spots on the walls and furniture, and the ceiling in the onsen was mouldy. A refurbishment, and this hotel would be deserving of its staff. One important thing, though. VERY thin walls, which can be annoying, especially if your neighbour brought their children."

"The hot spring was nice and clean and you get a private time slot, which is very nice. The rooms are cozy and have a balcony, Netflix etc. the staff is friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice experience. "
