"We had a short but wonderful stay. Service was excellent all the way through. Breakfast was amazing and the included dinner was also good. We had hoped to see Mt. Fuji but couldn’t due to heavy snowfall, but relaxing in the hot open-air onsen while the snow was falling on your face and listening to the nearby shrine gong sounds was simply one of the best experiences of my trip. Highly recommended"

"This is really a lovely hotel. Like other reviews says it hasn't been painted or redone in anyway since probably the 70's and it shows but it has a lot of charm. Stayed there for 2 nights in a cool traditional tatami-room with both mountain and lake view. The staff didn't speak much English but they were very helpful and kind. They even drove us to the station when we asked them to call a taxi. I would definitely recommend you stay there for a unique and authentic experience. Also the onsen is...

"房間大, 但供泊車的車位只有十個左右. 要上一條小斜坡才能到酒店. 酒店旁邊是纜車站. 遇上河口湖煙火祭, 房間可直接看到煙花, 太美了. 但酒店附近沒什麼用餐地方."
