"Property is centrally located in Kinosaki Onsen’s main street and canal. It is also almost in front of Jizou-Yu, one of Japan the town’s seven public baths. Room I stayed in was modern and recently built or renovated. This ryokan has its own bath. Staff at check in was very nice and helpful. They do let you know that staff after a certain time in the afternoon do not speak English and there is an 11:30 PM curfew - they lock the doors. "A stay on the cheaper side of the usual Hakone pricing. Very big room. The public bath was not well maintained, and therefore not enjoyable to use. Location is not ideal but not a big issue if you have a car available."

"The bed was the most comfortable I slept in so far. Room was large enough for a single person. They had free amenities in the lobby and the breakfast had a good Japanese spread. The only con is the elevator is super slow lol but at least they have one! Family mart underneath is super helpful. Would stay again and it's super close to the takachiho gorge! "

"We had a really nice stay, it met our expectations. Everything was clean and working, even though walls are thin people were good at being respectful and quiet. Only thing we were missing was plug with ground to use our adapter or USB charge in the wall. Also i found the matresses a bit hard to sleep on. The personal are english speaking and very helpful. Can highly reccomend the hike from Nakatsugawa to Nagiso through magome and tsumago. It is a nice find to the price. Overall a memorable amd...
