Gæstehuse i Det Nordlige Kyoto

"We stayed in Room number one. It was incredible. It was such a wonderful experience to stay in a historic building that had modern amenities and a lot of space. The room decorations and sliding doors were beautiful. The living room overlooks the garden. Everything was clean. It was nice to have the communal food area to grab coffee in the morning and a light meal. Be aware that the room entrance for the room is right next to the lobby. There are stairs to climb to get up to the room. We will...

"Lovely place, beautiful garden, cozy room and very kind and professional staff. I can recommend to add the positivity of using the hot bathtub on their rooftop as well."

"Hiro was excellent and very helpful during my stay."

"great location, wonderful house, japanese traditonal style"

"I didn't expect that it would be a whole house just for myself! The service was splendid, very polite and helpful. The house has everything you need, i.e. all the dishes. The interior is traditional and, very comfortable and nice."

"I loved how authentic the experience felt and looked, curated by such amazing and sweet souls. "

"The place is too small and cramped up but clean, no towel provided, need to pay extra to use the towel, and it was not indicated that the restroom/ bathroom is shared to the other tenants but it's ok for us since we just stayed 2 days. Walkable restaurants, convenient store, and walkable Shrine nearby. Train station is far so we need to ride taxi."

"located around prime attractions"

"An unforgettable traditional ryokan experience! Amazing location, extremely quiet, ultra relaxing, environment to completely unwind. The staff is incredible, the food is delectable, and the tea ceremony (do not skip) is a magical and unforgettable experience. You’re sleeping on a futon on tatami floors in a 157 year old building in historic Kyoto, just as they’ve done for 1,200 years. A wonderful way to spend a night or two during your visit!"

"Great place. Very nice and kind staff, who loves to talk. Good bar, and bathing conditions and also fine sleeping conditions."
