Disappointing Return Visit – Declining Experience
This was our 4th time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, each visit has been noticeably worse than the last.
First, the “elite” experience has significantly ruined the hotel. The hotel has closed several areas, yet the pricing remains the same (if not higher)- one restaurant, one pool, and part of the buffet area were closed, and nothing new has been added to compensate - you’re paying the same amount but receiving less value.
The food quality and variety have also gone down. The fruit selection was extremely limited throughout our stay—mainly apples, bananas, melon, pineapple, and papaya—with little to no variation. Overall, dining felt repetitive and less enjoyable than in previous visits.
Service, especially during breakfast in the outdoor area, was disappointing. Seating was difficult to find, and once seated, we often waited a long time for basic service like water or coffee.
Additionally, the hotel felt overcrowded. The buffet frequently ran out of food, and it took a while for items to be replenished. It seemed the hotel was not prepared to accommodate the number of guests, which impacted the overall experience.
It’s disappointing to see a place we used to enjoy continue to decline. We hope the management addresses these issues, but based on this visit, we are hesitant to return.
