The staff was not friendly. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very rude bellman. After check-in, a staff member wanted to talk to us about joining as a vip member. He was extremely persistent and talked to us for an HOUR before we could go to our room. Mind you we were there after check in time. The rep wanted us to join a vip club at the hotel but we never experience the hotel to make a commitment to be a vip member. I glad I did not join because the staff was not friendly, food subpar. We went to the Italian restaurant and there was a hair in the food. We bought this issue to the staff, they apologized and suggested that we go to another restaurant and offered free steak meal (which is typically additional fee) the only availability was 9:30 pm. A steak dinner that late? I declined. The resort rooms are beautiful, and the beach is nice. However, at night for entertainment was not good. On Christmas, they had a stage with chairs and tables. You can only sit at the tables if you buy a bottle of champagne, I don’t drink champagne nor my family. The waiter was very rude and asked my husband and I to leave.So we had to stand to watch the horrible singing from the “entertainers”…I will never go back. My family and I went for the Christmas holiday, it was not a fun experience. For the price I paid for my family, I wanted to be treated better by the staff and good food. This resort lack this. Staff in restaurant not friendly. I will NEVER EVER come back! A waste of time and money.
