"Loved the A La Carte restaurants' menu and the buffet menu was pretty good too! Also love the view, pool, beach, numerous activities and them being all-inclusive! The housekeeping, room service, and everything are worth 5 stars. I would say the teppanyaki restaurant fell short of expectations and food was quite bland in my opinion. But overall 5 out of 5 stars experience and would highly recommend this hotel!!"

"From the time you arrive through the gates until you leave, you're taken care of. All you have to do is relax and have fun. Lots of activities everyday. So many pools to keep cool. The beaches are great! The staff is very friendly. There's all types of food, you can eat your favorites for every meal. The rooms are comfortable, cleaned everyday and great air conditioning. I can't wait to return, i miss it already!"

"Air conditioning in room was not working. Service was terrible - basically non-existent. Hotel facilities were okay. Room was dated. This was definitely not a 5 star hotel, would be a 3 star hotel. Would not recommend this hotel at all for those looking for 5 star or even 4 star hotel given the service was so bad! We would never stay here again. "

"My wife and I loved our stay at Joia by Paraiso. We took a 10 day vacation away from our busy lives and the kids. The staff was always friendly and gave generally great service. "Generally a nice hotel. Room is nice with ocean view. Very nice beach. Pool area is ok. Drinks are good. Food is generally good for all incluisve. Crowd is very American, at bit old and not so interesting, would have liked a younger crowd. Overall a great stay. "
