stunning views
Stay in Mafolie because of the stunning views over Charlotte Amalie. Be sure to get a room with a view. 116 is one. The views from the restaurant are similarly fantastic. The pool is fine and the service ok.

Fint hotel i Charlotte Amalie
Hotellet var fint. Venligt personale, god restaurant og gode forhold generelt. Rent og pænt. Dog dårlig internetopkobling. Ligger et stykke fra byen og transportmulighederne, men det opvejes af udsigten.

Pragtfuld udsigt over Vharlotte Amalie
Hvis man vælger et værelse med udsigt, er det muligt at følge med i cruise skibenes ankomst og afgange. Også fra restauranten er udsigten fantastisk. Ulempe at skulle betale får de dyre taxier, hver gang man skal på tur.

Mafolie Hotel
Vi havde et dejligt ophold på Mafolie Hotel, personalet var venlig og imødekommende, udsigten fra hotellet er fantastisk og maden i restauranten var af god kvalitet. Man skal dog være opmærksom på, at hotellet ligger højt oppe på en meget stejl bakke over Charlotte Amalie, så man er afhængig af enten bil eller taxi, når man vil ned til byen.

Mafolie i Charlotte Amalie - fantastisk udsigt
Vi havde et fantastisk ophold på Mafolie. Vi nød den fantastiske udsigt over havnen både fra værelset og restauranten. Vores morgenmad var både spændende og rigelig. Ella, som sørgede for morgenbuffeten var med sin dejlige, caribiske glæde og charme med til at gøre opholdet til en oplevelse i særklasse. Ligeledes skal hotellets fine shuttleservice til Charlotte Amalie og til Magens Bay fremhæves. Beliggenheden langt oppe på bjerget, gør vandreture til og fra byen til en fysisk udfordring, men det kan dog lade sig gøre. Der hviler en dejlig ro over Mafolie - der er ingen pumpende musik eller støjende bar-liv - bare fred til at nyde livet, luften, udsigten. Vi vil med stor glæde vende tilbage til både St. Thomas og Mafolie ved et andet besøg.

these views are worth every second and penny of staying here. keep in mind, you cannot walk anywhere except the bar a little up the hill called sibs. However, we found a wonderful taxi guy named Kenny, who is safe and reliable and drove us every day to and from the hotel wherever we want to go. The pool is gorgeous with a wonderful view as well. Adorable cats on the property outside that are so friendly. The staff is wonderful the house keeping is amazing. It is worth every penny, but I think it’s pretty affordable to stay there. Lots of steps, so keep that in . However, it brings a lot of charm and old world vibes. We upgraded to the junior suite with the balcony and it was worth it The only downfall and this is small is that the breakfast every day is the exact same. Scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage, the fruit changes every day. Sometimes they had potatoes. They also have dry cereal with milk if you wanted it. Fresh orange juice. And coffee. it was a little upsetting that you can only get scrambled eggs when you are staying there seven days. I wish they could switch it up and do fried eggs or even waffles one day.

The view was amazing from our balcony. The hotel was clean and quiet. I was not happy with having to wait until 8 am for coffee.

We loved our short stay at The Mafolie. The views there are spectacular. Stephen and his staff are very accommodating and friendly. The cooked breakfast is huge and delicious, we couldn’t eat it all. In fact my husband keeps saying he wants a Mafolie breakfast again.

Nice place. Good views. It's an old place so it had paint chipping off, stains in the bathroom wall, leaks from rain. Overall still a place I wouldn't mind staying at again

This is a quaint Carribean hotel. Some rooms have been renovated more than others. The staff was very helpful an dfriendly and the food in the restaurant very good. The hotel boasts beautiful views of the C harlotte Amalie harbor as well. Parking was very limited but we were always able to find a spot.

The rooms are big but nothing fancy. The restaurant is quite good, especially, the Sunday breakfast. Service was excellent. The view of Charlotte Amalie from the restaurant (and most rooms) is breathtaking, with a bar right on the edge of the patio. The rooms are nothing special, but nice enough for getting some good rest. The pool is very nice and again with a view. There are no other restaurants nearby, and you won't want to walk around because it's a steep hill with no sidewalk.

At check-in all of our guests receive a welcome letter with a list of local restaurants. The closest bar & restaurant is Sibs on the Mountain. It is a 10 minute walk uphill or a 45 second drive from the hotel.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and went above-and-beyond to help arrange for taxi service to a restaurant and for airport pickup. It really is appreciated that they were very friendly as well as being professional - just really nice people, cannot emphasize that enough. Lovely location and view; simply wish that I'd more time to spend there...

The property is located in a beautiful area with great views of the Harbor. Guests services ( Alyce is friendly, informative and welcoming lady) The restaurant has good food with friendly staff. We are highly recommending Mafolie 🙂

The views are amazing, the restraunt was really good for dinner and the complementary breakfast was good as well. Favorite part was how helpful the staff was with scheduling taxis and letting us keep are bags there when arriving early. A really great experience.

The hotel location offers a beautiful view of the water. The rooms are clean, very comfortable bed and the A/C worked great. The staff was amazing from checkin to the bar and the restaurant. The distance to the airport is a short drive and the transportation that the hotel arranged was fabulous. We stayed just one night before our trip home after spending one week on a catamaran. It was a perfect place to stay.

Nice choice for the ending of our catamaran trip. Staff, especially Elise, very kind, friendly and accommodating. We felt like we were in Mama Mia. Just a lovely, clean and comfortable place to hang. The view was beautiful. They have a pool and Happy Hours, and a restaurant for dinner and breakfast on site. We had a small refrigerator and microwave in our spacious room. We took a taxi there and back, as it is on a very steep hill with no real parking nearby.
