The power on the island went out almost every night which is terrible for someone who has to use a CPAP to sleep. It seemed as though all of the units around us had generators. "This property has a beautiful view. The kitchen pots and pans were horrible and the cabinets stunk. The property is poorly marked. The owner said I could only use 1 bed and 1 bath even though I rented the whole unit. The owner also acted like he wanted me to pay because he didn’t receive enough money through the app. He also questioned whether I really needed the AC. "The apartment is tucked away in the hills west of Charlotte Amalie and offers spectacular views as well as a refuge from the huzzle and buzzle of down town. Charlene is a wonderful host; we received directions ahead of our arrival and she responded quickly to any queries during our stay. We changed to the larger apartment which was perfect for us as a family of three. This is an affordable, hidden gem. Go for it!"

"It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. "This was a nice place to stay. One caveat to future people that stay. Make sure your card has good clearance and is able to go up a steep hill without issues. We had a Toyota Camry rental car and it had a little trouble. This has nothing to with the quality of the stay. Just make sure you have Jeep, Rav4, or something that is good on hills.
