"It’s not a luxury hotel by any means, but it’s cheap enough that it doesn’t matter. Everything was pretty clean. The only comfort complaints I have are that the windows do not seal out the noise from the outside very well, and the rooms get a little warm with no climate control. "

"We had a nice stay at Howards place. The small garden a nice place to drink your morning coffee. It’s situated In a nice part of SF with good restaurants close by and good bus connections into downtown and to Ashbury Haights. Howard was a very considerate and helpful host."

"The apartment is very nice and clean with lots of storage and closet space. It is charming and unique. Although we didn’t spend any time in the outdoor area, it was nice to look at from the room. We easily got on the street parking across from the rental, which was a big plus. The surrounding blocks don’t offer much in the way of shops or restaurants or coffee places, but Uber is readily available."
