"Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk.
Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.
Would recommend if you’re near by."
"Very nice stay on this lovely boat! My parents had one of the double rooms and myself and the kids had the apartment. We were made very welcome by the owners. The boat was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The kids also loved that there was a basketball hoop & football goal they could use. Everyone was happy. "
"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"Review of Crowne Plaza London Docklands (Stay: 30th July – 1st August 2025)

I stayed at Crowne Plaza London Docklands with my family from 30th July to 1st August 2025, and I can confidently say this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we’ve had.
The air conditioning in our room kept shutting off throughout the stay, making the room hot and uncomfortable — especially at night. We tried calling the reception multiple times, but no one ever answered. We ended up having to go down to the front desk 2–3 times ourselves, wasting our time and energy on something that should have been resolved promptly.
Despite raising the issue repeatedly, nothing was properly fixed. As a gesture, the hotel offered us free parking, some loyalty points (not really useful to us), and a 20% discount for a future stay. Frankly, that doesn’t come close to making up for two nights of poor sleep and the stress we experienced.
I’m very disappointed, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. A decent night’s rest and responsive service are basic expectations — and even those weren’t met here.

We chose it even though it was a little outside Central London, but you get a very nice sizes room with a nice but small (and not new anymore) bathroom. Area is upscale, with lots of restaurants and there are also a couple of Tesco stores

Var glad for besøg i pool og dampbad. Sauna var ikke varm. Kunne tændes ved at kontakte reception. Ville dog ønske at der bare var en knap, så man kunne tænde sauna eller dampbad i et tidsrum. Der var alt for meget tid i poolen reserveret til udefra kommende brugere. Ville ønske at der var mere tid reserveret udelukkende til gæster.
Der var var generelt noget køligt i værelse og andre områder. Ville ønske at det var lidt varmere.
Lidt mærkeligt, at man ikke kan komme til hotellet som gående, men kun med DLR eller bil. "
