"What a great place for the price. It is a ways from the resorts and downtown Punta Cana but not hard to get a taxi at all. If you want a taste of the local lifestyle this is definitely the place you should stay. Less than 5 mins to Ole supermarket (which is kind of a Walmart) with a fully equipped kitchen. Even if I was going resorting I would stay for a couple days here just to understand how middle class Dominicans are living. Don't let the people who only stay at resorts tell you how...

"This is a beautiful resort! The staff is very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the pools and sun decks were plentiful. Overall, a great vacation. My only suggestion is to update the cardio equipment in the fitness room. The treadmills are very old and stop frequently. The spin bikes are also well worn and do not have much resistance. Otherwise, a fabulous trip!"

"From the lobby and pool areas to the rooms, this entire hotel is amazing. Well-maintained, clean, and beautiful. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very nice, each room with its own dedicated AC — a huge plus when everyone sleeps at different temperatures. Modern Samsung appliances and fully stocked kitchenware made the stay even more convenient.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The private parking lot was great — a security gate and parking just steps from your door.

"Great staff and facilities. The pool water was somehow too cold, but the ocean and beach were lovely. On site food was more over-priced that I expected. But, if you don't think about that, it was a nice place to be. There are a few on-site or walking-distance activities, but with an extended stay, off-site activities will fill the time. We found some great options (in addition to golf and spa) that were fun for the teenaged kids."
