Ecrin à Bijoux - Central and Charming apartment with A/C in historical property

In a building full of history in the heart of Paris, you will stay in a former workshop of jewelry transformed, like a jewelry case, into a cozy, comfortable and charming apartment.

On the 2nd floor of the last residence where the famous French revolutionary Robespierre lived at the end of the 18th century, this completely renovated apartment kept the charm of this period with its exposed beams with all the modern and highest comfort of today (Internet, Wifi, A/C, washer-dryer, USB plugs, station iPOD / iPhone, TV with international channels, DVD, connected speakers, rain shower ..).


The apartment, completely renovated, can accommodate up to 4 people + 1 baby.

The entrance hall, with a cloakroom and separate toilets, overlooks a large living room with a sofa bed with comfortable sleeping for 2 persons, a large TV screen with all international channels, DVD / CD player, video games, and iPod/iphon/ipad docking station, connected speakers.
The kitchen has a large table for 6 people.
The bedroom is equipped with a large hotel quality bed (160cm) for two people, with a dressing room and an office desk with wireless Internet, Wifi connection, and accessible USB sockets to easily recharge a computer, tablet, camera...
The luxurious bathroom is equipped with a rain shower in the ceiling and a hand shower.
In the fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, automatic hood, Nespresso coffee machine (Original pods), kettle ...), tea and coffee will be available upon arrival.
You will also have a washer-dryer and comfortable heating and air conditioning.

In addition to the many restaurants in the area, you will find everything to do your shopping: supermarket 200m open until midnight, and in the lively rue de Marché Saint-Honoré (500m): butchers, fishmongers, caterers ... and Farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Ideally located Rue Saint-Honoré in the center of Paris Chic and Luxury, you will have everything nearby for an exceptional stay:
- metro: "Concorde" and "Madeleine" at 150 meters
- restaurants and markets: Restaurants and take-away in the adjacent streets, Terrasses du Marché Saint-Honoré, Monop' supermarket at 300m and open daily until midnight
- museums: Louvre, Orangerie ...
- shopping and luxury: Rue Saint-Honoré, Place Vendôme
- walking around: Jardin des Tuileries, Banks of the Seine, Champs-Elysées

The apartment was spacious. The host thought of everything we would need to make our stay comfortable. Instructions for checkin and check out were easy and you understandable. Lucile the manager was very communicative online. Arnaud who met us upon arrival was very helpful in showing us everything. The apartment was perfectly located centrally for walking to all of the many important sites you would want to visit. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our choice of stay and recommend it highly. We would stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful time in Paris in this perfectly located apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and modern amenities throughout. Sightseeing, shopping, people-watching, whatever you want to do was nearby, and yet the immediate neighborhood was quiet. Our hosts hit just the right note in communicating with us, and the whole process of booking, check-in and check-out was easy and handled well. We only wish we stayed longer!

Charming in the centre of it all

Charming apartment in an excellent location. Withing 10 min walk to the Louvre and jardins des tuilleries, and walk another 10 min and you are near Champs Elysees. 30-40 min walk to Eiffel tower. Metro station Madeleine is the closest to apartment. Overall we loved our stay. The only complaint is that the building isn’t very soundproof, you can hear the neighbours and the air conditioning unit made noise, but the host provides earplugs. But it wasn’t much a big deal for us, we still slept good. Overall, it was a great stay. The host is very reachable and nice.

Perfect stay in central Paris

We are a family of 4 with children visiting Paris as a family for the first time. The location, cleanliness, and security of the apartment were all excellent. There were two main metro stations within a 5 minute walk from the apartment which made it incredibly easy to travel to other parts of the city within 10-15 minutes. Major attractions were also within an easy walk (Place de Concorde, Jardin des Tuileries, the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Musee L'Orangerie, etc.), and a small grocery store (Monop) also within a few minutes walk. Having children, it was invaluable to have a kitchen and washer/dryer in the apartment as well as air conditioning. We visited Paris during a heat wave! The pullout couch bed was also the most comfortable pullout bed I've slept on. Lucile and Arnaud were excellent to communicate with and made sure we were warmly welcomed. The excellent reviews are all true. Highly recommend!

Great spot in Paris

The apartment is in a great location, with most of the main sites walkable for our active family. The apartment was well-appointed with everything we needed during our stay. There was a little mix-up at check-in, but the host and owner did everything they could to remedy the issue and were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

A week in Paris

Summary: we enjoyed our stay, the location and accommodations. I would recommend this apartment to anyone considering staying here. Read below for some further details. Good- Lucile was very proactive with her communication leading up to the trip and extremely responsive to any questions I had. - Lovely little apartment, recently updated as described with 1 full and 1 half bath. All amenities one would need to make as a base camp for a week or more. - You are right on a main strip for all the high end retailers if shopping is your thing. Literally right above/ next door to Christian Louboutin and on the same street as Chanel, Burberry, Armani, Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch and others.- Multiple restaurants (Le Florentin was wonderful and right around the corner) and cafe shops within walking distance. There is also a small grocery store (Monop) about 10-minutes walk for any snack, drink or other needs.Things to consider:- This building was built in the 1800’s, so keep that in mind. You hear EVERYTHING outside during day and night. - As described, this is a third story apartment with no elevator access.- You will hear the metro running (approximately every 5 to 10 minutes during day)

Great apartment in a perfect location!

Spent a week in Paris on a mother/daughter trip and Les Ecrins was the perfect place for us to stay. The apartment is exactly as pictured and is very clean, safe/secure and a great size for 2-4 people. The location could not have been better. Right on Rue de Saint Honore which has incredible shopping, and it’s centrally located to all of the main attractions in Paris - extremely walkable. The host was unable to meet us when we checked in but she had a friend meet us and he was very helpful and happy to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!

The perfect place to stay in Paris!

This apartment is in the perfect location, you can walk to all the major sites of Paris. It is very quiet at night. Lucile is wonderful to work with, as is her assistant Arnaud! I highly recommend staying here to enjoy the world's most magical city!

Very comfortable, well located apartment!

We really enjoyed our week here. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and very peaceful, From this location it was very easy to sightsee in Paris by bus, metro or on foot. Organising our visit with Lucile was straightforward. Definitely to be recommended.

Wonderful apartment in perfect location. Exactly as advertised, and made our visit to Paris special. Many places walkable, and 3 minute walk to metro stops. Nearby grocery shops, restaurants - as well as located in high end fashion store neighbourhood - even if we didn't use the Christian Louboutin store by the front door!) Apartment very well equipped with everything needed - and extras (eg nice bluetooth speaker/radio system)Highly recommend
