The apartment was wonderful for my husband, young daughter, and I. It was the perfect location from which to explore Paris - so central to so much. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and seeing the neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here.

Everything was as expected. Maria is very responsive to messages and is very helpful. The place was great for our family of 4 with two teenage boys. We visited during a big heat wave (temperatures approaching 40) and the portable air conditioning unit was a lifesaver. Grocery stores are nearby as well. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this apartment. The location is excellent—only about an 8–10 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe, with a supermarket conveniently located just around the corner. The apartment is small, as is common in Paris, but it is incredibly cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The host has truly thought of everything, from reusable tote bags for grocery shopping to a washer/dryer, plenty of cooking utensils and dinnerware, and large bath towels. One feature we especially appreciated was the elevator, which made arriving and leaving with luggage so much easier. Although it is a self check-in apartment, the host was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We felt very well taken care of and would happily stay here again.

Great location and responsive host, but some important comfort issues The location was excellent—very convenient for sightseeing, public transportation, convenience stores, bakeries, and restaurants. The host was also very responsive and usually replied almost immediately. However, the apartment did not feel fully prepared for a family of four. Our reservation clearly included two adults and two children, and the rate was for four guests, but only two pillows were provided, so the children had to use sofa cushions. Basic toiletries such as hand soap, body wash, and shampoo were also provided only in very small amounts, with the bottles already mostly empty. We did not ask for more because we felt a reservation for four should reasonably have been prepared for four from the beginning. The more serious issue was cigarette smoke entering the bathroom, apparently through the building ventilation. On several nights it was strong enough that we were coughing and had difficulty sleeping. We kept the bathroom door closed, but then our towels absorbed the smell overnight. I do not consider the smoke itself the host’s fault, and it did not seem like something she could easily fix during our stay. However, because it was recurring, I believe this is something that should be disclosed to guests in advance so they can make an informed decision—especially families with young children or anyone particularly sensitive to second-hand smoke.
