Beautiful apartment. Very clean and spacious, we had a great stay. Check in and check out process was not good, very limited details provided. The host should have better communication with their guests.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. Close to the metro and wonderful restaurants. The flat was clean and comfortable with great lighting and original Parisian artistry. I will try to stay here again on my next visit to Paris.

This is a fantastic property in a great location. It's absolutely huge (much larger than any other Parisian apartment I've visited), is in fantastic condition and has been tastefully decorated.Key handover was easy (the hosts agreed to meet one of us before my arrival, and pointed out a minor known issue with a tap) and access was via a fob-accessed door. The apartment is on the 4th floor (which was fine for us), but a small lift is available. There are numerous bakeries, restaurants, public transport stops and supermarkets nearby. I'd happily stay here again and would certainly recommend it.

My family and I LOVED this apartment! Lots of space that was well decorated; modern upgrades and amenities while keeping the historical details and charm. The location is incredible—so close to the Republic metro stop and yet on a quiet little side street. Opening the windows at the end of the day you can look out and see the gorgeous architecture and tree lined streets. Close to a super market and many restaurants (don’t discount the Asian restaurants—my family and I had hand pulled noodles the first night that were so good we’re still talking about them). The one drawback was that the elevator was not working the whole time we were there. I’m not used to climbing 4 flights of stairs and it isn’t the way I wanted to end long days of sightseeing and walking. I would huff and grumble the whole way up but as soon as the door opened my frustration would leave and we were home!

Our family of 4 had a good experience staying here overall in June 2026.Highlights: very spacious (bigger than what we needed), convenient location (close to shops, restaurants, and several Metro stations), two bathrooms, comfortable beds, plenty of room for eating and relaxing in the living room, and timely communication from host. For future guests: it’s a busy and noisy area, we never received a full document with instructions on how to enter the apartment or building or how to use the amenities (dishwasher, washing machine), our check in time was delayed by over an hour and coming off of an overnight flight this was real inconvenience. In the end, we overlapped with the cleaning crew so received some instructions but were left to figure out many things on our own. The delayed check in was due, in part, to the PSG football match and several Metro stations being closed.Overall, we had a good experience after a few missteps in the very beginning. We loved our time in Paris and having this spacious apartment to stay was a positive part of our trip.

The owner of this property contacted me two weeks before we were supposed to arrive and told me that I needed to cancel because they had water damage. Do I believe that? I am not sure -- if that was the case, I don't see why the owner needed me to cancel. I suspect that they wanted to rebook at a higher rate. I did cancel through expedia, but the third party rental company (belvilla) obviously didn't get the message and sent me NUMEROUS messages that assumed I was arriving, adding significantly to the confusion around collection of keys, actual location of the rental, etc. It seems pretty standard to Paris rentals now to pick up a key at a lockbox that is NOT on site. So to receive 4 different addresses for the actual place and two different lockbox codes was super confusing and unhelpful. (I have screenshots of 4 different street addresses to which I was directed.) So while this place looks great... It caused so much stress to be told to cancel last minute and then still receive a deluge of information that was irrelevant to the place I actually stayed. (Which was fine, but smaller and obviously a little less ideal since it was booked so close to our date of travel.)

Fourth floor apartment was *spectacular* in its central location, cleanliness, decor, and amenities. Steps away from Place de la Republique (and metro line) with many options for restaurants (French, pub, pizza, Five Guys. Etc) and grocery stores. The Boulanger at ground level of our building had fantastic breakfast pastries, bread and coffee (although the apartment had a fantastic automatic coffee maker and pods- all you need is to get milk). The pictures of the apartment don’t do it justice. It’s 2 full bedrooms and a 3rd room with a pullout couch that could easily be a third bedroom. In addition the main living room is bright and comfortable with a large sofa and table. 2 bathrooms (one w shower, one w tub) and very modern and clean galley kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge, induction cooktop. Upon arrival we were met to open the door and quickly give us the lay of the land of the apartment. The key came with a fob that opens the Main Street level door, and doors inside the building to get into the elevator/stairwell. Note that only one set of keys is furnished which was the only slight inconvenience as when we split up to do different activities we needed to coordinate to get into the apartment. I pile highly recommend this apartment!!

We were delighted with the apartment at 25 rue Beranger, Paris, with a few concerns.The apartment was large, roomy, clean, perfectly located near a busy area near transportation, restaurants, and other eateries and yet set off so it wasn't too noisy, exactly as described on the VRBO website. The kitchen was fully appointed, containing everything we needed to store and prepare meals. The physical location was beyond outstanding, with a grocery store (Monoprix), and a boulangerie (Brocco’s) just steps away. The Place de Republique offered an overwhelming supply of shops and restaurants that were all excellent. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The television choices were extensive.However, the apartment was four stories up, and in the space of two weeks the elevator broke three times. Three! The first time took one week to fix; the other two times it was fixed the same day or the next. For me, a 74 year old with lung issues, climbing those four stories at the end of the day was arduous and painful. I think the host and VRBO should state in their advertisement for this apartment that the elevator is unreliable.We did have one addition concern: As Americans, we expected that providing a clothes washing machine would also provide the ability to dry the clothes. This was not the case. We were only able to do our laundry at the coin laundromat near the apartment. This should be noted for American expectations.
