Misleading, Unsafe, and Unacceptable – Stay Away
I booked this hotel in Florida through Expedia, expecting a fun and relaxing getaway with my family. The listing advertised a unique Ramada property with a water park and great amenities—but what we got was far from what was promised.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear something was wrong. There was a long line at check-in, and several guests were visibly upset, arguing with the front desk staff. We waited over 30 minutes just to get our room keys.
Once we got to our room, we were horrified to find mold on the ceilings, which seemed to affect our health during the stay. The room smelled musty and unclean, and it was clear that maintenance and cleanliness were not a priority here.
None of the amenities we specifically requested or were promised during booking were available. The "water park" was incredibly dirty and, frankly, dangerous. All three of us were injured using the slides, and one even tore a hole through the bottom half of my swimsuit due to the poor condition of the equipment.
This was clearly an old, run-down hotel that has been rebranded under the Ramada name but has not been properly renovated or maintained. I feel completely misled by the advertising and the listing. It not only ruined our trip but left us feeling disappointed and unsafe.
I am hoping to receive a full refund for this stay, as this experience did not match what was advertised or paid for. I would strongly caution others before booking.
