"Super cozy chalets located ~10 minutes walk from the center of Ohakune. Two separate bedrooms and a large living room provides a great setting for down-time if you need a break from exploring the gorgeous surroundings. The chalet has a functional kitchen, but Ohakune has an excellent selection of restaurants for people who - like us - are too lazy to cook. We can especially recommend the Mountain Rocks café for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and given great recommendations...

"Very quirky & interesting property. Pleasant, quiet place to stay close to the town. Driveway could be a challenge, however you can park on the road in front. Property could do with some maintenance. The amount of stairs could be an issue for less mobile guests. This was a fun stay."

"Beautiful, peaceful and worth every cent. We had a wonderful stay at Hanmer Glamping and would happily book again. The dome was beautifully decorated, with lovely touches throughout that made it feel really special rather than just a place to sleep. "Great value for money and a good stay for a small family. The kitchen was well equipped, the laundry was a real bonus, and the heater kept the place nice and warm. Just remember to bring your own bed sheets. The only minor downside was that the toilet is outside the house, but for the price, we really couldn't complain. We'd happily stay again."

"It was a nice warm pad and fine for a family of two adults and two teens. At that price you’d expect cleaning and sheets to be included, we were a little surprised to have to vacuum, scrub the bathroom, and bring our own linen/towels. But good location and owners were super helpful."
