"Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment. (Eg step free access to different areas including showers etc.) if you provided hosts with different...

"We love going to this property. It has everything we need for our annual friends catch up. It is a highlight on the calendar each year."

"It was freezing outside but the cottage was cosy and comfortable. We were able to walk out and admire the views, listen to the frogs and birdsong and think about how hard life must have been there when the place was first settled. For our granddaughter - a city based 18 year old - it was mind boggling. Once convinced she did have phone reception and that snakes were not going to leap out and attack her she thoroughly enjoyed herself."

"I’ve now stayed at Knottapharm multiple times and every time I pinch myself at how stunning the property is.To have wildlife casually roaming the property, the privacy and quiet of being tucked away in the valley plus all the comforts you would hope for in a country estate. I can’t speak highly enough of it.Leanne and Steve are also very diligent and caring owners who invest a lot of time in the property but also ensuring guests enjoy it fully. Our family can’t wait to return "

"We turned up and were given the wrong code. This was corrected in about 10 mins. The host was very apologetic and would look into the error. The property is very nice with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Very quite location - perfect. Very good sized home with king size bunk beds and queen beds. "A beautiful little farm close by to the town. The host was lovely and showed the kids how to feed the animals. Lambs, sheet, goats, chickens etc. kids had fun feeding the animals and collecting eggs. Spent the day in thirlmere and visited the railway museum which the kids loved too. "

"We had a lovely family holiday at Bundara. There was plenty of room for 8 adults & 3 children. The house is very well equipped & set up. There is a large living area with a great lounge & dining table suitable for a large group. Having 3 bathrooms also made sharing the house with 11 people easy. "
