Pros: great location, easy walk to bus and subway, lots of places to eat nearby. The bed is comfortable, the shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner are provided, and milk in the fridge and prosecco on the table are as well.Cons: no sink, mirror or outlet in the bathroom, so you have to use the kitchen sink to brush your teeth or shave. You blow dry your hair literally in the kitchen! There was a sewage odor in the apartment that took 3 days to resolve. During that time communication was poor, and the repair people left without putting the room back together so we were left with a gaping hole in the bathroom and no place to hang wet towels. There were only 2 towels provided for 2 of us for a 6 night stay. No paper towels and only 1 dish towel provided . As others have mentioned, the apartment is very damp. All in all, it was a challenging stay.

Good location near restaurants, public transit, and within walking distance of sights like the British Museum. Host left welcome treats.Some issues affected the stay. The kitchen had no paper towels or sponge to wash dishes, the WiFi was spotty, there was no place to hang towels, the dryer didn’t fully dry clothes, and there no hair dryer provided. The rental felt damp and musty, with poor air circulation. On checkout day, we noticed mold in the corner of the rental between the bed and window. Overall, I was disappointed and had higher expectations based on prior reviews.

I was moving my daughter into LSE Rosebery Hall and was looking for a place close to there. This place was the perfect location. We had flown in from the U.S. and had not rented a car. On move in day, we just walked her bags over. Exmouth Market is across the street from the apartment. Angel station was about 10 min away and Farringdon (which took me back to Heathrow Airport) was about 15 or 20min away. Kings Cross also not too far away. Groceries, restaurants, shopping all close by. Area felt relatively safe at night. Unit was small, but clean. The front door needled some finagling to open and close. A few outlets were finicky. There was a Keurig type espresso pod machine. Milk in fridge and cookies in a jar. Welcome bottle of prosecco. Fresh fruit on the dining table. All lovely little touches. Overall, suited my needs just fine. Would definitely return.

Great location and facilities. Host thoughtfully left milk, wine water and flowers to welcome us. Very well equipped. Front door tricky, has to be slammed to shut and very loud when guests for upstairs come and go.

We highly recommend this property. We flew into Heathrow, caught the Elizabeth line straight to Farringdon station, short 10 min walk to the apartment. Easy access to all the tourist spots with a bus across the road. The bed is so comfortable, the shower has plenty of hot water. Had a problem with internet access when we arrived, Gina was onto it and had it fixed very quickly. Perfect location, plenty of eating places to choose from. The Union Tarvern does great Sunday roast too.

Niedliche kleine Wohnung, als Rückzugsort vom Großstadttrubel völlig ausreichend! Ein kleines Begrüßungsgeschenk in Form von frischem Obst und einer Flasche Sekt Blumenstrauß hat uns total gefreut. Schade war nur, das man das Fenster nicht zum Lüften öffnen konnte , dafür ist aber eine Klimaanlage vorhanden. In die Stadt kommt man bequem mit dem Bus, Haltestellen sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zu Fuß ist das Zentrum auch gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne mal wieder!!!

Location, Location, Location!

Not being familiar with the geographic layout and scale of London, I was concerned that the location of the property may be out of the way for seeing the sights. To my relief, it turned out to be in a tremendous spot, easily accessible to public transport, and within walking distance of some wonderful pubs & attractions.

Great Location

The PROs The small unit is on the ground level near Exmouth Market and other wonderful food shops. Just across the street you can catch the bus for traveling. The bed is very comfortable and the room has a small refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, air conditioner and washer/dryer unit. There was even fresh flowers placed in the unit with fresh fruit. The CONs The bathroom was very tiny and there was no sink. You will need to brush your teeth or wash your hands in the kitchen sink. There was lots of water damage in the bathroom and this caused lots of mildew you could see and smell. Keep the bathroom door closed or your entire unit will smell like mildew. The shower tiles on the floor were loose and was coming apart when we showered. The fan isolator was not working in the bathroom too. The floor in the unit was filthy. I never wear shoes inside and my bedroom slippers were completely black from the dirty floor by day 2. The cleaning person came by and explained she was vacation and did not clean our unit before our arrival. She wiped away the mildew and cleaned the floors. She stated she was aware of the fan, shower tiles, water damage, and mildew. Nothing can be done until it gets repaired from the owner. We were constantly killing small moths and slug/worm creatures during our stay in the kitchen and bathroom. While we enjoyed the location of the unit, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness.

Cute, small pleasant studio great location

The bed was super comfy, nice mattress and linens, very clean and modern, owner left a bottle of proseco and fresh flowers, and there were espresso pods - always appreciated! The little place has all the amenities, including great resturaunts nearby. Know there is no ventillation, and we experienced a slight odor coming from the shower drain. (Kept the bathroom door closed). The TV wasn't working. The owner was un-responsive when queried about these two issues, which was suprising.

Very nice place to stay. Probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. There is no kettle but there is a hot tap which runs instant boiling water.

Great location for food and public transportation!

Gina’s place is exactly as advertised and a quiet retreat from the streets of London. The location was no problem and it was easy to get around. The fact that Gina found a way to fit a working oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the unity is a MAJOR plus for guests. There is a slight smell of mildew but I expect this to be normal of a lot of the smaller, lower level places in London. The unit was very clean and stocked well with more amenities than expected!

Excellent 10-day stay! Studio seems close to new, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower, and fully stocked kitchen. Quite spacious for a studio. In a neighborhood with many food options and an easygoing vibe. Host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Great location, nice neighborhood, well appointed

Less than two miles from all the attractions of London with great bus access from stops within a block or two and an Underground station 0.4 mile down the street. Neighborhood is quiet with few tourists. Lots of local residents and the restaurants/shops/pubs they patronize. Waitrose & Partners supermarket is a 10 minute walk away. Flat has everything you need. Watch your head in the bathroom if you are over 6 feet tall. Stayed 5 nights, enjoyed London’s energy, and were happy to have our own little refuge every night just a short bus ride away.

Parfait pour un bref séjour

Nous avons séjourné 3 jours et ce fut parfait comme pied à terre, car c’est tout petit. L’appartement est très bien équipé, et très pratique, avec une Nesprrsso et des capsules disponibles…les journées débutaient bien. Plusieurs resto et pub très très proche, et le Métro King’s cross a 15 minutes de marche (plusieurs lignes de train disponibles). Bref, parfait pour un court séjour à deux à Londres!

Wonderful stay in a vibrant area

The flat was better than the pictures. Very clean and the fruit and Prosecco were a lovely touch. There was everything you needed for a short stay and more. The bed was a bit high to get in and out of, but once you were in it it was very comfy. The area is great, wonderful places to eat. Gina was super quick and responsive when we needed to contact her. Would recommend!
