"Vi tog til Isla Mujeres for at få en afslappende slutning på vores rejse i Mexico, for at slappe af på stranden og komme helt ned i gear. Vi fik alt andet! Jeg havde læst anmeldelserne, men tænkte, at det kunne ikke være så slemt. For os - to voksne og en baby - var Mia Reef et utroligt stressende sted. Der var ingen rolige steder, det var ekstremt stressende, stranden var fyldt af solstole, så det var svært at være på stranden. Der var musik alle steder og ingen rolige steder. Både på stranden...

"I have mixed feelings about this resort. The location on the beach is good and the hotel as such is also nicely done. However, it failed the 'towel test' Every morning at 6 am people are reserving sunbeds that they then dont use. Also there is constant 'entertainment' and way too much alcohol flowing which creates a spring break atmosphere, but with most guests being in their 50s. Very odd environment to be honest and not at all relaxing. Having said that the staff is generally nice and service...

"This was a tremendous experience for me as a solo traveler. I was afforded the privacy I desired with the option for fun activities and wonderful food. I cannot say enough about the quality of service and kindness of staff. The grounds are beautiful and the entire feel was a delightful blend of casual yet exclusive. "My family and I spend 7 days at the beautiful Belo hotel, but the totally misplaced instant loud music, ruined every relaxing vacation vibe the surroundings deserve. When relaxing in the pool area you were forced to listen to 3-4 different playlist simultaneous - is was more stressful than relaxing.
