"Absolutely superb. Randy thought of everything to make this a quiet, friendly, comfortable place to stay. A quiet retreat. It put a dent in our tourist activities, though, because we didn’t want to leave! It’s good to do some grocery shopping before you get there, as there are minimal food options in the immediate area."

"We had a little hiccup with the email providing the check-in info, but once we called it was quickly resolved. The room has been redecorated nicely, with a super comfy bed and cold A/C. Right next to the farmers market, and a short walk to downtown Hilo.
Would definitely stay again."

"I loved my room! It was spacious and comfortable, perfect for my needs. This isn’t a modern hotel with tons of amenities, but I found it charming. There was a large bathtub that I enjoyed as well. There is no front desk, but that wasn’t a problem for me. I had text contact if I needed anything."

Det ligger lidt isoleret, så man skal lige tjekke kørselsvejledningen på deres hjemmeside. Men den er meget præcis, så det er ikke noget problem at finde.
Der er kun adgang til vandfaldet og den lille park der hører til hvis man bor på hotellet, så det er meget privat.

"There was no coffee available. The lobby wasn't going to open until 10:00 a.m., and though it looked like they would have coffee there, none was available, nor was it the afternoon/evening before. Very disappointed about that. Otherwise the place was lovely."

"At kalde dette sted et hotel er en overdrivelse. De der har stedet er virkelig virkelig søde og sørger for lækkert banana bread og kaffe om morgenen. Man skal selv vaske op efter sig selv og lign. - på den måde minder det meget om et b&b. Jeg synes ikke rigtig det var pengene værd - men på den anden side var der heller ikke så meget andet i nærheden.
Hilo, som er den by der ligger tættest, er ligefør jeg vil frabede folk at bo i. Den er dødsyg og vi følte os faktisk ikke særlig trygge der....
