"Lehua looked great in the add and was far better in person. We loved our stay-and seriously considered asking if we could stay longer. “LLC” had everything we needed and more-we were able to cook all our meals in a delightfully comfortable setting. Coqui frogs, though invasive, were a lovely treat to fall asleep to at night. We were unbelievably close to Volcanoes NP, for the fountaining lava and close enough to summit Mauna Kea! We are deeply grateful to our hosts thoughtful outfitting of...

"This was a very cozy, clean and pleasant cottage for an island getaway. Marie was able to arrange a floral arrangement for my wife’s birthday, which was beautiful and extremely thoughtful. There were plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby and they were only a short distance from the cottage. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We stayed 12 nights and absolutely loved it! Puako is a hidden gem on the Big Island. The house was so comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed waking up to the sound of the birds each morning, seeing all the geckos, and looking out for other wildlife (mongooses, wild pigs, etc). We were just a short walk from the ocean and tons of world class snorkeling. We also spent a lot of time at nearby Waialea Beach (also amazing). Literally no complaints, except we wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you...

"Perfect stay in a quiet neighborhood. It was close to everything we wanted to do including the volcano. Clean and comfortable. the only thing we found ourselves missing was a microwave but we were able to make due with everything else available which was perfect. Thank you for the comfortable stay. Will be staying here again if we visit another time."

"This was a great place to stay to enjoy the Hilo side of the Big Island. Sitting on the patio enjoying morning coffee or an evening meal were the favorite moments of our stay. The owners are kind and giving hosts and proud to share the bounties of their farm. "

"Mango Cottage is a great home base for exploring the island. 2nd time staying here. Host is super cool and helpful. If you need anything during your stay, he's there for you! The cottage has everything you need- plus the bedroom is air conditioned.
