"We were very Comfortable and would stay again! Appreciate white linens as it adds to feeling of being clean. Comfortable bed. A/C was a nice perk! Unit was ground level so easy to get baggage in and out. Designated parking spot. House Close to road but never noticed car noise. Did hear foot noise over head but wouldn’t deter from staying again. The local market, KTA, was great!!"

"This was a great spot to stay as our home base while we explored the Big Island. Great location- central to everything we wanted to do on the Hilo side (about an hour from VNP, and within an hour of several waterfalls). Easily the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in, and the added bonus of a gate made us feel safe and secure. If we return to the Big Island, we will definitely be staying here again! "

"The property has a spaceous kitchen/great room area and a very comfy couch. The kitchen has everything we needed and we were able to have several meals at the property. The shower is large and comfortable. The two bedrooms have a queen bed with plenty of room for suitcases, etc. The overall decor is lovely and interesting. We enjoyed working the puzzles and apreciated a chance to play Crimes Against Humanity."

"Clean, spacious. Kitchen tools (pots, tupperware, spoons) well stocked. Location was excellent: close to downtown, close to grocery, quiet residential neighborhood.I will say in spite of having the fans on and windows open the house did get very warm midday until evening. Would recommend for families! "

"Great location within easy walking distance of so many great places. We were given clear instructions and helpful suggestions for restaurants and groceries. The free welcome basket was unexpected and so amazing!! We parked at the street level because the driveway is steep. We loved our stay and would happily stay here again! "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The views from the deck were amazing, especially for sunrise. It was clean, well appointed and in a very quiet setting. We only got to spend one night here, but wouldnt hesitate to book here again. The property manager was very responsive."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Honomu. The home is comfortable and well appointed. Sitting on the second floor balcony and enjoying the forest scenery as well as the ocean in the distance was a highlight. The cool air was refreshing and kept the home a comfortable temperature. We appreciated having laundry facilities available and used the kitchen daily. The day geckos were fun to watch scurrying around. At night, the coqui frogs were quite vocal.
