"We had great directions and notes left by host which made finding the cabin easy with little cell reception.We got there a little early and enjoyed the grounds, hiking and checking out the river and waterfalls.The host found us on the property and let us know our cabin was ready for early check in which was great and very accommodating because we got a nap in before going to our event we had to attend.Very helpful and responsive. "This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. "We loved the modern cabin and its amenities. Convenient location only 3 miles from Volcano National Park. Not as secluded as you might think - which could be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for… Neighbors were noisy at times and you can hear highway traffic. But you also hear frogs and birds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend and would book again! "

"Dawn has a lovely property within reasonable driving distance to Hilo, Volcano National Park, and beaches. If you read the description of the property and the reviews, you will not be surprised. "It was absolutely amazing. An incredible peaceful setting. It was like being alone in a tree house in a tropical forest. It was very kid friendly with games and puzzles. The hosts were amazing. Very unobtrusive but very available for any needs. Location was very close to volcano national park and very convenient. Definitely recommend for a stay near volcano national forest."

"Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!"
