Federal Hall

Ok hotel men Hotels oversælger det ved at vise et foto af roof top, som ikke har noget at gøre med hotellet og der er ikke adgang for børn ud over en enkelt time fra 16-17. Det foto var grunden til at vi valgte hotellet men fik aldrig lov til at komme derop, vi tilkøbte morgenmad, som bestod af 4 halve stykker toast med lidt smør og marmelade og et glas juice. Er slet ikke pengene værd og vi føler os snydt. Vi skulle bruge yderligere ca 400 kroner ekstra hver morgen til 3 personer for at få lidt æg og frugt. Vi havde i forvejen betalt ca det samme for morgenmad. Vi føler os i den grad snydt og tager den med hotels når vi kommer hjem samtidig med den misvisende markedsføring af fotos som ikke har noget med hotellet at gøre. Ellers ok hotel med store værelser og god udsigt over Hudson River. Ok beliggenhed ned til Hudson River men der sker ikke så meget og du skal et par avenuer op for at finde restauranter og butikker. Det er det lidt mere slidte område med en del hjemløse og suspekte personer der driver rundt omkring hotellet.

The breakfast itself is good, but the whole experience surrounding it is chaotic and well below the standard you should be able to expect from a hotel. Guests are herded into the breakfast area in a very impersonal manner, almost like being at a school canteen. It is extremely noisy and hectic, and the staff working around the breakfast area are neither particularly friendly nor welcoming. You get the feeling that you are simply part of a crowd that needs to be processed as quickly as possible, rather than a paying hotel guest. On top of this, the waiting time for the elevators around breakfast time is completely unacceptable. It adds even more frustration and makes for a stressful start to the day. The food itself is perfectly good, but the organisation, service and logistics surrounding breakfast are simply not good enough. The hotel really needs to address this.
