After entering the first room to find water on the bathroom floor and toilet tank leaking, we were assigned another room. Upon entering the 2nd room, we found multiple hairs in the bathtub. We had our own cleaning supplies, so we cleaned the bathtub. I reported this to the front desk and they didn’t seem too concerned about it. Later, my wife went to take her shower and she found a used bar of soap on the upper soap dish. Again, no apparent concern from the front desk. The next morning, around 8am, I requested clean towel sets. After spending the day sightseeing, we returned at 5pm to find no clean towels and the dirty ones still on the floor. Another trip to the front desk and they said they would send up clean towels. Within a few minutes, a guy showed up at the door with clean towels and an attitude. While the lobby area of this hotel seems nice and updated, the rooms are in bad need of the same. This hotel is used by Holland America Cruise Lines for their sailing passengers which leads to the lobby area being constantly crowded during the day. Had we known this, we would never have booked here. Lots of early morning doors slamming and people talking loudly as they make their way to the lobby to catch their bus. Stay clear of this property.
