"We loved our private room at this hostel and the pool was nice and it had a great area to hangout around and the place to do yoga was pretty as it overlooked a small flowing creek however it did need to be better maintained as there was lots of bat guano on the ground and some of the yoga mats and blocks, the food at the kitchen/bar there was good as well but they also had a nice kitchen you could cook your own meals in. Staff was mostly friendly aside from one of the ladies however it was not...

"I stayed in the 6 person dorms , and the beds were sturdy, so you didn’t wake anyone up by going into the top bunk. They provide bed sheet which is really nice. There was a bathroom for the room, but it was wet every time someone used the shower. I would recommend to use the shared toilet/outdoor bath. They were of high quality and wonderful to shower with a view and sound of nature from the shower cabin. The hostel is right in the city, perfect location and with easy access to walking...

"Good location, friendly staff, free tasty breakfeast and coffee. They offer a free shutle to the free hot spring/lake. You can use the kitchen to make dinner. They offer transportation from SJO. The bad aspect is that you can hear every noice, the bed was hard and we could feel the springs, and the interior is old."
