"I recently stayed at this hotel in Chelsea, and while the location is fantastic – right in the heart of the city but still relatively quiet – the condition of the hotel could use some attention. The overall feel of the property is quite dated and in need of an upgrade. During my stay, I encountered a significant issue while taking a shower – water from the pipes started backing up into the bidet, causing dirty, foul-smelling water to flood the bathroom floor. It was unpleasant, to say the least. However, I must commend the staff for their prompt response. They were extremely helpful and quickly moved me to another room, which was greatly appreciated. In summary, while the location is great and the staff were excellent, the hotel itself is in need of some renovations. If you're looking for a well-maintained, modern space, this may not be the right choice, but the helpful staff certainly made up for some of the property's shortcomings."
