"Condo was clean but dated from 1990's, Grounds overgrown around pool which was far from room. Grills are charcoal and old so we cooked in room. We did not know 2nd floor and I mentioned recent back surgery no interested in moving us. Charged my credit card money for cleaning fee and I had paid in full? Removed when I left but I had to check when I returned home. Then asked for customers to take out the garbage and then there was a tip envelope for maid? No daily maid service..."

"The home is elegant. It faces the river/mainland with water views from every room. It's a split-level featuring a dramatic entry leading up to the living/dininig areas and down to a fully-equipped party room with two of the three bedrooms and massive projection TV. Out back is an inground pool, tanning beds and a private boat dock (rented separately). The home is beautifully furnished but (in my opinion) isn't set up to accomodate small children or rowdy teenagers. There's a instruction booklet...

Looks is one thing but we ran into several issues while my family of 5 stayed. Its very important you bring your own plates, cups, silverware and skillets. The property only has a Keurig for coffee. "We were in town as a family for my grandson’s college graduation. We had a wonderful time staying at Kern Rd. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, large patio area with pool & grill, quiet neighborhood & not far from stores. Owners were great in communicating. "We had a fantastic time. The property was amazing right on the river, watching the manatees and dolphins from the deck, close to the beach, the kids loved the pool. The optional boat rental was a fantastic option. Oscar, the property manager, was a super nice guy. I can't recommend this property enough for a getaway."

Kid friendly eating surfaces (not just glass tables), high chair, trundle beds, a tub with hand held shower head, pool with all the accessories (noodles, floaties, towels) and beach chairs for trips to the ocean. Lots of lounging space to soak in the sun or in the shade. We ate on patio almost every day. Loved the caution strips on the tall doorsteps to outside so I didn’t bash my toes even once. "Great small hotel a bit older but the room I was in was remodeled with new flooring and bathroom and cozy beds. It also had a apt side refrigerator and oven /stove combo with microwave and coffee pot. Very roomy room . Easy walk through gate to pool and to the beach. Daytona is five minute south and Flagler Beach is 5 to 8 min North. Cute stores, eating ,fishing pier and parks with in a 5 minute ride. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff that make you feel right at home. The apartments are huge with all the amenities that one can think of. Beds are super comfortable. Pool area is very nice and there are a ton of activities for all ages. Lots of great golf courses to choose from within a half hour drive. Can't wait to be back"
