NEVER EVER use this hotel if you are disabled!!!
WARNING: NEVER EVER use this hotel if you are disabled!!! The hotel is totally useless for people with disabilities. The hotel was arrogant and totally indifferent and insisted that their "disability rooms" are handicap friendly and has wheelchair access, and it not, it was because our wheelchair that was abnormally large" (though we could prove the opposite). Hotels.com clearly states on its website that the hotel has "handicap rooms" (ADA-rooms) which are handicap friendly and have wheelchair access!!! Both conditions are completely unacceptable and totally reprehensible. The hotels so called "handicap rooms" are neither handicapped accessible nor have they wheelchair access for the following reasons: 1. The door to the toilet and the door to the bathroom are MUCH too narrow. Even a very small manual wheelchair (like mine measuring 23.60 in. (60.00 cm) x 33.50 in. (85.00 cm) (W x L)) can under no circumstances pass through any of the doors. During the 4 days we stayed at the hotel, my husband could not shower at all, he had to urinate in a bottle when we were at the hotel, and further toilet visits he had to make on REAL handicap toilets in the city! 2. The area next to the toilet and the bathroom is so small that even a small manual wheelchair like mine can't turn around. 3. There is not a single handle either in the toilet or in the bathroom. 4. The bed / living area is so small that even a small manual wheelchair like mine can only get around with distress.
