My apartment has everything you need for your stay in Barcelona. Located in the cultural and chic neighborhood of Glòries, you have incredible transport links to the city center. The apartment is extremely comfortable and the lovely and huge terrace has incredible views of the city!

The Space:
Welcome to this lovely apartment in Glòries! Plenty of natural light and with all the amenities you may need, my apartment is the perfect location for your stay in Barcelona. With perfect transport links to the city center, you can not be better located. If you are looking for an authentic Catalan experience, while still being close to the bustling of Barcelona, then the Glòries neighborhood is the place for you.

After a day exploring Barcelona, there is nothing better than relaxing on the sofa and watching TV or reading a book. With chic decoration and plenty of natural light, you will enjoy every moment you spend here.

You also have a lovely dining room to enjoy special dinners with friends. You can use the space to work with your laptop. Space is huge and plenty of natural light.

The apartment can accommodate up to 3 guests distributed in 2 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: Double bed
- Bedroom 2: Single bed

The AC is only located in the living room.

Elevator in building (there are around 15 stairs from the elevator to the apartment)

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located just by Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, most often shortened to Glòries. It was first designed by Ildefons Cerdà to serve as the city centre in Barcelona's original urban plan due to its strategic location; bordering Eixample district and at the junction of three of the city's most important thoroughfares: Avinguda Diagonal, Avinguda Meridiana and Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.

Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Glories (Line 1).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€

Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 2.25€ + VAT per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. Also, from 2022 Barcelona City Council applies 3.25€ + VAT to the tourist tax as a city tax fee, also per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights.

- This cost of 6.65€ per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights IS NOT included on your reservation.

- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.

- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)

*** HOUSE RULES ***

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.

Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great location and communication
The apartment was extremely clean, and the host made the check in and commutation process seamless. Unmatched views from the terrace, and a 1 minute walk from the Metro and Tram.

Great location, nice neighbors/neighborhood
The apartment is very close to the Glories (Glory-es)metro line which can get you anywhere. Westfield the biggest mall in Barcelona located 10 min walk away. Huge grocery store/great prices. Behind the "egg". One of the largest flea markets is directly opposite the metro station. check dates. The Meditteranean/Arab restaurant downstairs is wonderful and a great bakery around the corner. There is also 2 markets next to the restaurant for drinks, snacks wine, etc. There is a lot of construction going on in the area. This affects access to/from the metro station, so just be aware. There are new cranes in the sight line to La Sagrada Famila, but the terrace is AWESOME in nice weather. The best neighborhood Tapas bar we went to was Cabo Bar Restaurant Marina, Carrer de la Marina, 124 Esquina, L'Eixample, 08013 Alibey, Great food & drink. Nice red wine at 3 euros a glass, huge whiskey pour at 7. Highly recommed the potatoes brava, croquettes, "bomb", gratinated provolone (like cheese fondue served with bread), wanted to try more but we were full. I was a little disappointed with the "amenities" in the apartment. We received1 roll of toilet paper, 1 paper towel & small dishwashing bottle. No extra garbage bags, cleaning supplies/soap Maybe it's an American thing but most places in this price range offer a bit more. The owners did supply garbage bags, and a tea towel after asked (here was no drying rack for the sink). I hope you have as much fun at this accomodation as we did!

Needs repairs
The unit had broken light switches as well as a strong sewer odor coming from the bathroom. When it rained, water leaked in the hallway. The views are now compromised by new buildings next door and new building construction while looking at la Sagrada familia. The patio needs some upkeep as plants are un kept and over grown. Also many cigarette butts in the planters. The space of the unit is accurate but needs some repairs and updating.

Stay in Roof Top Apartment
1st i would like to say that communication was exceptional so thank you. Unfortunately we had a few issues with the apartment. The biggest issue was the smell - Barcelona seems to have a sewer problem at the moment and the worst of it seemed to end up in kitchen but particularly the bathroom which, at times, was unbearable and made it unpleasant to spend time in the flat. The location was pretty good, near Gracia metro but unfortunately it is currently a massive building site - i am not sure how long that will last. The kitchen is tired with equipment being very old and not a thing was left apart from a cleaning kit - no tea, coffee, etc. The sitting room is not in its current layout and does not have a rig which made the stone floor very cold at this time of year. Just a small word of warning - the flat is accessed via a phone app & on one day the cover fell off and the batteries fell out - luckily whilst we were inside as the lock would not work. We taped the cover back on but what if the batteries run out whilst out? We made the best of our stay but unfortunately did not feel it was value for money

Good for a temporary stay
The apartment was nearly everything as advertised. The check-in process is extremely easy. The vibe is comfortable. Nice light shining in everyday. The kitchen is very clean. You will have to buy basics like salt, butter or olive oil, coffee, tea. Some rentals have this, others don’t. The location is a 2 min walk from the metro. About a 10 min walk to a Westfield mall with lots of shopping and eating options. I recommend Honest Greens. Super fresh food and very affordable. The kitchen has a view of La Sagrada Familia. Nice dining room. Convenient and gives you what you need for a short stay.

Gute Lage nahe U-Bahn, Museen und Clubs. Schöne Dachterrasse, diese ist aber wegen des Lärms der benachbarten Großbaustelle nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Umfangreiche Ausstattung mit TV, WLAN, Waschmaschine. Nette Einrichtung, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.

Super vue de la terrasse
Excellent séjour, appartement confortable, la terrasse WOW. Ascenseur jusqu'au 7e étage, escalier un étage pour le 8e. Cuisine bien équipé, lits confortables. Près des services, Condis, Carrefour et restaurants. Seule chose qui manquait c'est des linges et savon à vaisselles, surtout pour séjour de 7 jours. WIFI excellent.
