We got a room on the second floor without any windows to the outside. It's not ideal, but it was ok. So be sure to request a window room if you are a little claustrophobic.
The main problem with the room was the sewer smell. We complained to the reception, and they said they will send someone up to have a look. So we went out to eat, and came back later. They said they had found the problem and fixed it.
The "fix" was that they had spraied a bad smelling perfume all over the room.... But hey, it didn't smell like a sewer for the rest of the night. The issue was in the bathroom only, so we just had to keep it closed at all times. Also, i think there is a dry waterlock issue with the drain under the sink, so I splashed a couple of cups of water into it, and it got a little better.
The second issue was that at night, we could smell smoke coming from the ventilation. So i'm guessing someone was ether smooking in the next room or somewhere else where the ventilation was connected?
The staff was friendly, and the housekeeping were helpful and nice. But I don't feel like the reception took the smell problems serious enough.
It would be a good stay if it was not for this. The hotel had a good location, and a good breakfast. And the beds were good.
