"I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!"

"We enjoyed the location tremendously; and, staying on the boat added a charming ambiance to our Amsterdam experience. On the other hand, it is very tattered, dated, rickety and an electrical nightmare. Extension cords and hidden switches everywhere and very dimly lit. Floors covered with throw rugs that all overlap; the walls and ceilings covered with fabric that has been stapled on. And, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. "Such a great location. Close to everything and quiet which was exactly what we were looking for! Host was wonderfully accommodating which we really appreciated! Only very very minor complaints were the water didn’t get hot enough to utilize the bath, (I like scalding hot baths!) and the internet was in and out a bit. Everything else was amazing! "Myself and 2 family members chose the Aalsmeer houseboat to explore Amsterdam and Keukenhof gardens. The houseboat is super cute. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. Die Vermieterin (Anne) war für jede Frage offen und antwortete immer sehr schnell. Die Unterkunft war super, es war sauber und angenehm ruhig(obwohl der Flughafen sehr nah ist). Alles was man benötigte konnte man in dem Wasserloft vorfinden. Für ein verlängertes Wochenende oder eine kurze Auszeit genau das richtige. Wir werden auf jeden Fall...
