Stranden var ubrugbar pga den årlige tang invasion, det kan hotellet selvfølgelig ikke gøre for, men de valgte samtidigt at renovere ved poolen, så den også var ubrugbar. "We loved staying at Aloft Tulum. Great hotel, wonderful, rooftop pool, and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. I would not recommend setting up your airport shuttle through them though. They didn’t show up for our ride to come home and we had to call a taxi at 4 AM. "
