We loved our stay here but this is not a fancy place. It is on a canal and is older but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside our room in the mornings and evenings watching the iguanas across the canal. The pool was enjoyable. The on-site restaurant has open air seating and is not fancy but the food was FANTASTIC! It's called Made to Order. We had breakfast there and were amazed. I had the French toast made with croissants and orange batter with orange butter. Delicious. We will stay here again.

If you don't mind dirty rooms, few towels, no hangars and limited staff service this is the place for you. A $200 deposit for a lost key (that would cost $5 to replace)! Extremely expensive, particularly off season. The Made to Order breakfast place on-site had decent food but is not included. If you bring your boat and wish to dock it outside your room with easy access to the Ocean and Gulf you could maybe justify the downsides. Otherwise find somewhere else.

We stayed two nights and loved every minute of it except the bed. Not the right kind of mattress for us, very firm and the pillows were completely flat. It was a rough sleep for us. Other than that, I could not say enough good things about this place. Staff was incredibly nice, the area was so beautiful on the canal and the people in the area were friendly and helpful. Room is small but clean and updated. We saw all kinds of wildlife, sharks, fish, iguanas, lizards, right from our room! Pools were refreshing and clean. Restaurant next door right on the water with great views. Lots of cool things to do not too far from the motel. Recommend the sunset view restaurants on the opposite side of the key, incredible views!

Great place to stay with friends. Staff was awesome, when above a beyond. Especially Sheryl and Lola. Has a lot to offer , restaurant, bar, seafood takeout, easy to book trips without leaving the property. Definitely a hidden gem!! Will be back again.

Property was "tired" and dated. Blinds on windows allowed light in at night. Hard time getting TV to shut off. Pool dirty. Room rediculously small. Not even enough room to open one suitcase flat, let alone a place to put anything else. Wasn't confident door lock would hold. Parking lot tight.

This property is a motel, not a hotel, so your room door opens to the outdoors. If you use an external booking venue such as expedia, make sure to contact the Inn to explicitly describe where your room is. From the pictures and description on Expedia, we thought we had booked a “creekside” room. However, we were on the 2nd floor with a small window viewing the parking lot. The swimming beach is about 5 miles from the property, for which you get a pass to use for free. Just make sure you don’t intend on walking. It’s in the beautiful FL Keys, so quite a wonderful experience. Just make sure to contact the Inn before you book, as the advertised descriptions and pictures were not what we thought once we arrived. Plan for slow travel coming south to Key Largo.

I am not sure how some reviews on this property are 10? I am very confused and disappointed the only explanation is I think there are two sections to this hotel and the other section must be much nicer. Our room was dated, dirty and the door didn’t close all the way, the toilet was wobbly, no water pressure! We asked the front desk clerk about it twice she said she would get the manager to come to fix it we had zero follow up! I wish Expedia would review the rating on this motel as I feel like I was taken advantage of as the pictures look nothing like the room we had!

Beautiful view right on a canal. My kids loved being able to fish right outside our door. Swimming pool was nice, had grills and fire pit for BBQ and s'mores. Easy parking. Reasonably priced for the Keys. Close to restaurants and stores. Only issue was ice machine didn't work. Otherwise was fantastic place to stay!

Very disappointed! Receptionist was very rude at arrival. Then as I am unpacking my stuff a housekeeper was asking which room (specific room number) that I was staying in, which I thought was inappropriate. She had also brought her 4 children to work with her the day of my stay and they were throwing rocks in the water where I was fishing and at near by boats. The A/C unit was full of black mold so I turned the unit off so no air flow while staying in the Florida keys. I called the number provided if I had any issues about it. A man came to my room and basically said there was nothing he could do about it that night and basically just said to leave if I didn’t want to sleep in the room with the mold. I was told they would refund the $274 for the room and $200 for the deposit in full and would be in contact with Expedia immediately. I would appreciate if Expedia could communicate with me directly about this issue as I have already checked out and Creekside Inn will not answer phone calls.

The atmosphere is amazing along with the property manager, and the cleaning staff one particular lady real nice full of energy. She mostly cleans the second building towards the east side. The place is always amazing simple affordable key style.

The staff was super friendly and quick to help out if questions arose- Sydney at the front seat was really wonderful - the canal outside our room was cool, bed was comfortable, there was a breakfast place that shared a parking lot open 8a-3p and a small outside bar with stone crab claws at the end of the complex open 3p-10p and still in the same old highway spot was another outside bar that had lobster rolls and fresh fish tacos or rolls made to order and beer choices in a cooler and also a great snorkel/ dive place and a kayak/ paddleboard store

Stayed only for one night. Is a great property for the price, checking in was quick & easy. Had a great view of the canal with the boats passing by, manatees, nurse sharks, tarpons, pelicans... The building might be old but it was clean enough and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
