"The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful and friendly. They made sure that the gluten free member of our group was catered for at breakfast. The room was clean, and the beds comfy afrer walking the Thames path. I wiuld stay here again in a heartbeat and am thinking of retyrning with my family due to the location and price. "

"Beautiful outdoors area, though the noise from the busy road was easily heard. The room was disappointing. Situated in this building, we had expected more. It was very simple and boring and on top of that the carpet was stained and dirty. The bathroom had a very loud fan, no toilet brush and everything was discoloured. All in all, the place was OK, but we felt disappointed because of the pictures and grandeur of the building."

"An attractive oldish house outside but completely refurbished in a relaxed contemporary style inside. We enjoyed a large comfortable ensuite room overlooking a little internal courtyard. "We really really liked The Carpenters Arms, and we will definitely be back. We had a beautiful room, on the ground level, with a cosy vibe that reminded us of a summerhouse. Right outside our room we had a simi private space with a table and chairs. We just loved that. The staff were incredible and the food at the restaurant was great.

"The location was in a colourful and friendly neighborhood with easy access to all kinds of tasty food and bar options. The distance and bus option to central Oxford was easy and convenient, and the experience in Oxford was absolutely impressing.
On top of that I forgot my laptop at hotel, really stupid, but hotel staff was very helpful with organizing a shipment to my home address.
