"Spacious off-street parking behind the hotel. A warm welcome and efficient staff. Clean, neat room and ensuite. Lots of hot water, soft towels. Comfortable bed. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent eggs, bacon and toast, coffee and juice (other options available). Staff deserve a special commendation - there was an unexpected power cut in that part of town in the morning, but they managed to serve an excellent hot breakfast with no fuss or delays. Thank you!"

"What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel.
The staff were so friendly and professional.
The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field.
The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly.
Needless to say, we will be returning next year."

"As a couple arriving without a car, it was nice that the train station was quite close, and it was possible to walk to the beaches d port in Southsea and Portsmouth. It's a budget hotel, so naturally it's quite basic. However, as we as tourists intended to be outside the whole day and only use the room for sleep and luggage storage, it fitted our purpose. "Provides every need for a basic trip. We were in Portsmouth to visit family and it was a nice hotel to stay in after a long day of socializing with all the necessary needs. Also, they have a pool table!
