Delightful BEACHFRONT

Denne ferie ejerlejlighed ligger på den fredfyldte bluff, med udsigt over San Simeon Beach ved Pico Creek. San Simeon er porten til Big Sur, og en perfekt "hjemmebase", hvis du planlægger at rejse op på scenisk motorvej 1, til Elephant Seal Sanctuary eller besøge den berømte Hearst Castle. Kun 5 minutter syd til maleriske Cambria, som er kendt for sin sjælfulde charme, gallerier, shopping og restauranter. Set væk fra det travle vandretur i et mere befolket strandområde, er dette et roligt sted, hvor folk kommer til at slappe af og reparere. Kun få skridt til stranden fra bagdøren, nem adgang til lange romantiske vandreture på sandet. Du er inden for en kort gåtur til restauranter og butikker i San Simeon. Ingen kæledyr tilladt. Beautiful view with perfect accommodations

A peaceful getaway

Fantastic property, great location

What a beautiful stay right on the ocean with a private staircase down to the beach. Well maintained property. We can’t wait to come back. Be advised you’ll need to stop in Cambria on the way in to sign a contract before you can get the door code. No idea why this is necessary given the contract through Vrbo, but it isn’t too much out of the way, unless you’ve been driving all day and paperwork isn’t high on your todo list.

One of the only things missing was the sun.

This unit is accurately described, and comfortable stay in for two for a weekend. The living room is set up a bit awkward with a couch along the wall facing the TV, then a table, and then two recliner lounges, also facing the TV. (not a comfortable arrangement, for us, anyway). Also, it would be nice if some of the windows opened in the living area. All in all, it was amazing to be right on the beach and we got to enjoy one beautiful sunset!

Lovely beachfront location

We’ve visited San Simeon many times. This was our first beachfront rental. The view was spectacular and we could hear waves at night. The condo was very clean and had everything necessary for a good stay. We worked each morning and found the internet fast. Loved the main floor walkout to watch the sunset. There is a Mexican restaurant and a few diners a short walk away. Cambria has plenty of dining and grocery shops. The best beach for families is San Simeon State Park which is calm. We hope to visit again in a month.

Ocean fun

We come to the coast once a year to enjoy the ocean and surrounding areas. We loved the Lighthouse and Hearst Castle. We also enjoyed wineries along the way.

Recharge your batteries

Location was perfect. The ocean is right outside the patio door. House was spotless, beds we’re comfortable and location was so quiet. All we ever heard was the sounds of the waves. Highly recommend

Beach front property and more! This property had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Some of the pictures on line do not show the newly painted interior. The hallway is no longer orange.

Nice to get away

The condo was very nice and the views of the water from anywhere in the living room are exceptional. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, etc. There is no beach, per se, but one can sit out on the back patio and look at the water. There are plenty of other beach areas close by to visit. This unit is also well situated to visit the sites of the area, whether it's the lighthouse, the castle, the elephant seals, or wandering Main Street Cambria. We did not have neighbors, so I can't comment on noise issues. The back patios are small and close together, so, if there are other folks in the nextdoor unit, expect to share that space. We would definitely come back if we are in the area.

Excellent beach front view. Clean and well supplied. Carport. Very quiet. Wish the master bedroom was closer to the ocean side so we could hear the waves louder at night. Otherwise, a very nice location. We would stay again.

Perfect Central Location

Absolutely stunning views & coastal access from the property with easy access to so many early coastal towns and also the ce trail winery region. My wife & I arrived a week before our kids & enjoyed taking coastal trips & visiting wineries (we became members to three of them). The kids joi Ed for the last part of our trip & had a blast on the beach.

Beachfront condo

We so enjoyed our three night stay at this nice property. It is convenient, right on the bluff above the beach with a steep but very easy to use newer stairway giving access to the almost private beach, with only a few other small townhouse buildings along the shore. The sounds of the ocean at this location were constant and soothing. The unit is well equipped with high quality furnishings, very nice beds and plenty of blankets, etc. It has probably the nicest towels I've ever seen in a rental unit and the bathrooms are very modern. We look forward to renting it again in the future then next time we venture down this way. While the famous Hearst Castle is still closed to the public due to the pandemic, there are still plenty of things to do and see in relatively close proximity like the Hearst Ranch Winery and their nice wines and beautiful setting right on the ocean. The small hamlet of Cambria and Moonstone Beach is a mere 3 miles to the south with all the cute shops and great restaurants. Also being there in mid-September brought us glorious weather with very little fog... We are a couple in our mid-70s who live in northern Marin County and we have rented beach houses up and down the coast of California just this year and others in the past. We stayed in Santa Cruz, Avila Beach and Moss Landing previously this year. Each home was rented through VRBO and each was very nice and now we can include this San Simeon location to our list of places we'd like to return to.

Views for miles!!

Ok. Being honest here. Yes there were ants in the master bathroom. Yes someone tried to light battery operated candles. Yes the carpet in the master bedroom really needs replacing. All said and done …….the views sitting on the patio are amazing!! Listening to the crashing waves, cannot be a better sound to relax to. Saw seals, dolphins and sea otters The pictures on the site should change to show the beautiful remodel bathrooms. Hopefully owners can replace carpet to flooring.

Very relaxing stay

We spent five nights in this very lovely home. The decor is well worn and very comfortable. Wonderful sound of ocean waves—so relaxing. Super quiet condo. I think we were the only ones in the 5 condo complex which is beautifully maintained. Occasionally you’ll see some people walk on the small beach in front of the property, but it’s a super low key area, which is exactly what we wanted. We loved it so much, we found an opening in September and are going back. The TVs can be a little tricky, but we managed.

Fabulous Oceanfront Gem

Words can not describe accurately describe this very charming, spacious, and utterly relaxing oceanfront gem! The back patio area sits directly over the beach and a wide area beautiful oceanfront stares right back at ya! I highly recommend this property and I’ll be booking this beachfront escape often!

Great area for relaxing.

Our first time at this VRBO. Great location for us. They recently remodeled both bathrooms. Very nice. The guest bath had small black ants as the contractor must not have sealed the new vanity. But we left a note so I presume it will be taken care of. A contractor came by our 2nd night to install a bathroom shower door, not realizing we were there. The kitchen appliances work well, though outdated, except for the microwave which is newer. The gas fireplace was great, but had to call maintance to replace the batteries on the remote and the pilot light before it would turn on and off properly. They were fast and efficient in fixing it. The bedroom has ROKU but had no instructions on how to use it. The living room TV didn't have ROKU but had other instructions and worked well. There are 'battery' operated candles on the dining table, where it is obvious others have tried to light the candle wicks. Maybe put a note they are battery operated and turn on from the bottom. One of the dining room windows leaked water. We found a 'child battery spiderman toothbrush' under the main bed when leaving. It was right under the frame, and the 'cleaner' obviously didn't see it. A book of local attractions and a guest book for notes would be awesome. Thank you for the binoculars and outside seating. Nice to have Washer & Dryer, though we didn't use. Lots of towels and supplies. We recommend it to others who want to be away from the hustle and bustle.
