Like living in a basement
When the hotel writes that the room is with no view it means that the window is bricked up. It was was a claustrophobic experience to stay in a hotel room with no window - like living in a basement. The price did not reflect this fact. Besides that the room was well furnished and clean.

Excellent location within walking distance to restaurants, stores and sites. Communication to let us know about early check in was great and service was great. Would definitely go back to this apartments again.

We loved everything about this location. Very clean apartment, even though it feels more like a small dorm room. We enjoyed all the shops, bars and restaurants one street up. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Great location a short walk from bus stop 6 making it ideal for transfers and day trip pick-ups / drop-offs. Kitchenette was really useful for making sandwiches for day trips.

It’s ok for one night
The location is in good proximity to all the major sites and clean. Close to everything you need. The apartment was fine for one night, but I do not recommend this place for families. It’s so small. Noise coming from the street below will keep you up all night. And street parking was difficult to find. Also, it’s on the second floor so be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs.

Dear Lisa. Thank you for your review. When you booked, as you notice as you booked the studio is 24 m2 with sofabed. As you booked down town you can never avoid the city noise. Also down town in every city at least capital cities there is not much of parking places all around. And also it appears at the booking channel that we are on the second floor. So nothing of this should have surprise you when you arrive according to all the information you had about this accomandation when you booked.Kind regards,Þorsteinn

Abbiamo preso il monolocale economy che aveva solo il microonde e non è stato facile cuocere qualcosa. Il check in è comodissimo e il proprietario è sempre pronto ad aiutarti. Fantastic location, everything we wanted no more than 15 minutes walk away. Bit cosy but good what we needed it for, easily did breakfast and a few evening meals in the kitchen area. Bin etc emptied daily.

I really enjoyed my stay at this studio apartment. As my flight got in early, the manager made sure I had the code to leave my things safely store before having access to the apartment. The unit is close to the city's "main street" and even further activities like the National Museum or the Settlement Museum are in a walkable distance. Perfect!

Had a booking on the 20th of feb but had to arrive earlier due to weather conditions and the owner was very flexible when i called him and asked if he had a room for me to stay in until my booked room was available and got me a room for 2 nights until my room was available

It was very clean and office worker( owner)was very friendly. Location is excellent. Room was very clean but too small so don't take economy. You can smell food from Indian Restaurant down stairs.

I loved the location, it was so close to tge harbor, shopping restaurants and bus stops. The room was perfect, clean and modern. The noise from the street was annoying but did not reduce my time. I would stay here again.

Calling this an apartment ... a room and a bath. The "apartment" has no window - and I mean no window - and poor airing. Can't believe this is approved by fire-security authorities! If you turn off the light it is pitch dark, completely dark. No communication at all, and the "available parking" statement is simply a lie.

Dear Mr.Jokulsson, I am very sorry about your disappointment. This is a studio apartment, very common on all the booking sites. There is an openable window in the studio but no view as listed on hotels.com. You can adjust the air system with the handle on it. Regarding communication it says on the site that there is no front desk but you can send us email or call us. When the guest has not informed us about arrival time we send the guest code for the doors and other information. You can always contact us. If you look at the hotels.com site it says that parking is available, but not "free" parking. There is parking on the street and all around but as in most cities you have to pay for it. It is described as "parking" or "free parking" on the hotels.com site for all the hotels/apartments. Kind regards, Ingunn

Warm and comfortable stay. Great location too!
Just an overall great place. Ideal location for someone visiting since it is so close to all restaurants, shops and pick up spots for tours/airport. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. Loved the hot showers with good water pressure with the added bonus of towel warmer. The host could not have been more accommodating making sure we have everything we needed daily. Space is entirely up to you to decide what you would like to pay for and each room is reasonably priced. Don't expect the Four Seasons amenities, but if you plan on making the most of Iceland, there's no need. It is perfect for exploring Reykjavik and coming back to a comfortable and cozy place.

Great little apartments. Kitchen was small, but suited our needs as we really only did small meals there. The only issue I had with the property was that our window faced into a very narrow alley of sorts that didn’t allow for air flow. The room was very warm. They did provide a fan that made it a little better. Other than that it was great.

Very small and basic room- great location!
Tiny studio with hardly any room to move. Bed wasn’t comfortable due to having only one very soft pillow each and only one chair to share in the room. Also quite noisy on a busy road. Location is great though and the room was nice and clean and easy to access.

What l liked is Ingunn was excellent at communicating and accommodating, What I did not like is photos were deceiving, place is much smaller than the photos, kitchen did not have hot plates to cook
