"Very clean and fully equipped little cottage. Actually a mother-in-law suite adjacent to the primary residence. Very close parking just outside and a ramp if you need easy access. The cottage does not have a direct lake view however the property is on the water and we walked out to the dock. I even did a little casting to see if the Lake Norman fish had come out of their winter slumber.. but not quite yet. "

"Excellent location. Very easy to get walk to places to eat and shop. The Rail Trail was great for brisk walks and it’s right next to the house. The property was very clean and reasonably well furnished. It really fit our purpose and we’d recommend it if your travels take you to Lincolnton."

Big issue is the host is completely unresponsive. We didn’t get checkout instructions in advance and the host didn’t reply when we asked for them in the Vrbo app. We had to contact customer support to get the host’s number and then they still took hours to respond (and didn’t answer a call either). "Perfect cozy getaway for a girls weekend! All the house details are amazing and literally anything and everything you could need in the house. The hot tub was great and clean. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit outside as well. Perfect place tucked away! "
