Nice but could use some updates

Location is perfect for visiting Orlando. The pool was green on arrival, the property manager replaced the pump after we realized it was not working. The home needs a deep cleaning and carpet cleaning however, given the schedule is booked solid they don't have time between guests. Kitchen pans need replacement.

Disney trip!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to Disney and shopping. It was great having our dog along too. We appreciated the ability to cook easily. When we had a couple of questions we were helped right away.

Great location

Enjoyed the stay, everything was clean. They had everything i needeed ( from step stool to plastice cups and plates for the kids. Pool area is safe and they had pool toys. Great location,very close to everything and only 9 minutes to Magic Kingdom.

Property ok, management not good

The property needs some major upgrades-furniture & appliances are outdated, blinds don’t fully close and has sheer curtains so no privacy, door to pool broken, etc. But overall, it was a comfortable stay and location was good for those traveling to Disney parks (though it did take us about 20-30 minutes during busy times). The pictures also make it appear like it is a fully fenced in yard but the sides are open, allowing any one to come in and out. I also did have to submit multiple maintenance requests for the pool heater, even though I paid for it weeks in advance. It still did not work for the entire duration of our stay (worked 1 time) and when asked about reimbursement, manager said he’d get with maintenance and never replied back after that. For those bringing pets, be advised that there is no pet fee listed on the ad and during booking, it will not ask you about pets. You have to let them know during booking so that you are charged correctly and to avoid a pet fine fee after check out. I am not sure why the pet fee isn’t listed because it is easy to assume that the pet fee is included in the total cost—especially since the listing clearly says pet friendly and that’s it. Also, only 1 of each trash bag, toilet paper, paper towel, dish & laundry detergent pod are provided. If you are traveling with a large group, I would suggest bringing extra. The game room is located in the garage and it is HOT with no A/C or ventilation. A lot of the games and toys are missing pieces or broken. The DVD player in the minions room did not work because it wasn’t set up properly. Only 1 key was provided so again if you’re traveling with a large group and splitting up, it makes it difficult to get in and out when only 1 person can have the key. Finally, the rooms (especially master room) also get really hot when you keep the doors closed. When deciding to stay at this property, I would say to review and read all of the policies in detail prior to booking because they will charge your credit card on file for any fines and fees even before notifying you of the charges. In conclusion, although we did enjoy our stay, we were not happy with how the property manager handled our concerns. Regarding the pet fine fee, I asked for a mutual resolution and he replied that there are no exceptions.

This property is easy to find! There is a hot tub which helped a lot after walking the long distances at the theme parks.

Know before you go

We had a number of issues with this property. The positives, the property was very clean and it was in a good location. The negatives. You can't access the property for any reason before 4 pm, and you have to be out by 10 am. That doesn't align very well with flight schedules. The management is completely unresponsive. After arriving after 4, we quickly checked that there was a grill/full gas tank and went out to shop for dinner. Got back and found that the grill is completely chained-up thus unusable. Because of the late check in time, at this point the management office was closed. Called the afterhours number and received no response until a text the next morning, which I responded to asking how to unlock the grill. Received no response for the entire time we were there. While the pictures of the pool and hot tub look lovely, the fine print says you have to pay extra to heat it which also means that the hot tub Doesn't Work At All. The thermostat can't be adjusted. That meant that when it was 90 out, it was too warm to sleep and when it was rainy and in the 60s, it was freezing. The water in the showers barely got warm enough to be tolerable. The toilet in the bath attached to the second large bedroom is not bolted to the floor, when you sit on it, it wants to tip over. One of the 2 sinks in the master bath is covered in rust ? stains. DVD player in minions room doesn't work, and the minions were in pretty bad shape. There are no cleaning supplies provided.

Beautiful place only draw back the shades missing on the blinds, kitchen pool door needs new door knob takes a few tries to open door, refrigerator needs a new thermostat already booked for next year Thank you. You guys are great

Florida vacation

Thanks for letting us stay at your home. It was the cleanest vacation home in the 5 years that we have been vacationing in Florida. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware. All the TV's worked in every bedroom, which compared to the other homes we stayed at is very unusaual.Though we never went in the pool, it was cleaned every week we were there. But on the negative, there was only 1 key to the house, which made it hard to figure out which of our family members was going to be home first, so someone did not have to wait outside for the other family members to get home. When we are vacationing, we like to grill out on the gas grill provided. But here, there was a gas grill in the garage, but it was chained and locked. So we had to go to Wal Mart and buy our own. And the thermostat was also locked to air conditioning and set to 73 degrees. So a few days when the temperature outside was near 40 degrees, and it was 66 in the house, being able to turn the heat on to get the dampnest out would have been nice. And when it was in the mid 80"s a few days, with the thermostat being set at 73, it felt way too cold in the house. We could have saved the property owner money by turning the thermostat up to say 75, and not had the air conditioning run so much. But over all, the property was very clean and very well kept up. We enjoyed our stay.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!

The place was a great distance from everywhere we wanted to visit. I had an issue with the air conditioner, but with one phone call, it was quickly resolved. The management on this property was INCREDIBLE. I am already looking at booking this property for our next stay! If I could give more then 5 Stars I would!!

Disney Vacation

Would definitely stay here again. We had to leave after the 2nd night because of the hurricane coming but the property was nice and clean. I should have bought travelers insurance.

Couple day get away

This was a great place to stay. Close to a lot of stuff including Disney World. The only thing that we had issue with was that it was listed with a full fence, but it did not completely close off the yard. This was only an issue because we had our dog with us and she is used to roaming untethered. Otherwise we had a great time and were very happy with everything else. We would recommend this home to anyone. Great property.

Avoid this property!!

The house looks nice enough from the pictures, but the trouble starts with the check in instructions. Once it's too late to change to a different rental, I received the check in instructions which ask you not to lower the air past 72 degrees. I think to myself, that's a bit high, but I'm sure we can lower it at night when it won't have to work so hard. WRONG. The thermostat is LOCKED and you absolutely cannot change it from 72 degrees. My whole family was uncomfortable and sweaty every night. We had to open windows and keep all the fans on. I've rented a lot of VRBOs and I've never had a property with this kind of restriction. Even super cheap hotel rooms allow you to adjust the temperature. There are also signs ALL over the house with rules and demands that you take care of house chores like refilling the pool. They give you one trash bag and one roll of toilet paper as well, then tell you there is a $300 fine if you put ANYTHING in the outside trash cans without it being bagged. Most of the amenities in the home are cheap and poorly maintained. The master bathroom sink is rusting out, the guest bathtub barely drains and there are roach motels on the kitchen counter. The "playroom" is the garage WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING, so it's completely unusable during the day because of the heat. The video game consoles are set up in Spanish, and there are no darts for the dartboard. Seriously, save yourself the annoyance and choose a different VRBO, this one is a rip off.

Spacious with two masters

The size of this spacious home worked well for our family of 7. Having two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms was excellent. The little ones loved the Minions decor in the kiddo room. And games in garage were fun. So definitely some enjoyable aspects of this rental; however there were a couple of draw backs too. Renters are not able to adjust the thermostat so overnight was a bit too warm for comfort. And the kids safety gate around the pool was also broken so that gives a false sense of security.

great house

The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. I did wish the fencing was complete so our dog could have some outside grass time, but we were ok with going out on a leash. The house was very quiet and in a close proximity to everything we wanted to visit or had a need to go for supplies. I did have problems getting checked in as we were in the car with no internet and there is no local office to go to.
