Beginning Poor, Ending Great!
Overall would stay again and rent from this owner as they worked with us. Very satisfied at end of stay. Was given refund for pool heat disruption, which was very appreciated so thank you!
PRO: contact for this property very good with communication right away. Very nice surrounding property and amenities. The unit is within walking distance to main club/pool. There is a pool bar with friendly staff and good eats. Lyft and Uber allowed to come into property to pick up at unit. All WDW parks within 15-20 min depending on traffic. Lots of amenities close by. Unit is nice and comfortable for large family, very spacious, most cooking items available in kitchen, great to have laundry in unit so you can pack light. Pool towels are available and also bath towels available. Bathrooms were clean on arrival. Glad for vacuum and broom in unit.
Con: When issues raised it was somewhat confusing and had to take pictures and send emails to another contact to have issues rectified. This burden should not fall on people on vacation to prove unclean environment and broken items on first day of stay. Furniture needs updating, especially beds (very uncomfortable can feel springs) couch had multiple tears (although still comfortable) there are multiple carpet stains, couple of broken blinds in living room. Ref-ridge leaks at bottom. Main bath upstairs needs repair of bath shower head and the faucet coming from wall (had calking which wasn't working) Repairs and thorough cleaning of unit needed to be done after we arrived which disrupted beginning of vacation. All bedding had to be changed and replaced due to pee stains, food in the beds/comforters, food on carpets and in couch sticky floors down stairs. Took some time to get someone over, two people had to sleep on couch covered in sheet (we had to purchase clean sheets at local walmart on first night as no clean bed to sleep in (150 dollar cost to us). Cleaning didn't happen until next day. Paid for pool heat which was not turned on, actually pool broke and not repaired until fourth day. No closet in main upstairs room to hang clothing as it was locked. Had to purchase own cleaning supplies and only one trash bag in main can in kitchen. (having more than one would be nice until people on vacation can get to store.
